Well since he left them in the shit by ditching them I don't think his opinion matters to them all that much, they did the best they could with a main star who suddenly disappeared.
This was what we were given. We don’t know the politics that went on behind the scenes but we all got robbed because Costner was trying to get horizon off the ground. He should have completed Yellowstone and not been selfish
Costner financed horizon on his own partly. He was responsible for people's paycheck. And those people had already been waiting due to Sheridans unprofessionalism as far as pushing everything back. Rescheduling and everything else. Costner offered to compromise. And make changes to his schedule as well. Sheridan wouldn't budge. So please tell us how Costner is selfish and it's his fault. Not to mention I don't think it's ant coincidence that Kevin exits and Taylor all the sudden has a much larger role on screen. Very telling. Taylor Sheridan can't carry Kevin Costners jock.
@@atdawnweburn84yep. Glad that movie flop. I hope Kevin understand he is not Stallone, Costner or Eastwood level in film making. Should have listen to Taylor and just shake his booty in front of camera. Esp Taylor just got another W with Landman.
One heck of amazing job to all of you who played in the series Yellowstone thank you so much for the wonderful movie and the way it has supposed to have been back in the time I will watch more if you continue with more seasons to come thank you so much Merry Christmas
I appreciate your kind words you said thinking about us all that was on the show I was on the show season 5:30 episode in the courtroom there out there in Hamilton Montana but it's supposed to be betrayed like we were actually in Helena but you got very kind words and thank you very much baby girl
Kevin is amazing actor director and musician when he makes up his mind he does exactly what he said he would do. Sheridan got a big head and didn't want to work things our with Kevin it's was shocking how John Dutton life ended. There should have been a suicide hotline number
The actors were amazing such a great cast, but what Taylor did to the series was terribly such a bad ending to such a great series. He made the ending all about himself. I do not even want to see the spinoffs. One can tell that the true brains behind this series who had a more of a vision was Kevin Costner.
Kevin is right the ending of Yellowstone was wrong I didn't like how Taylor ended John Dutton's life. Taylor was rude and had a bad mouth. Kevin Costner was amazing actor and I loved his role as John Dutton such a strong man❤
I don’t think they did enough to make me hate Jamie enough to get what he got! They all did super fucked up shit but Jamie just got bullied to all he’ll. lol
Considering it was only meant to be a one-off, I think all involved did well by it through the 1st half of season 5. I feel Costner was likely the one who brought the real inner soul/balance to it all, having seen all he's done over his career. Then, the lack luster way the last 1/2 of season 5 hit, feels like Sheridan's the one who thinks he's the only guy who made it what it was, but failed miserably in his interpretation. I loved most of the actors and what they brought to their characters. Didn't care for Sheridan's acting or the character. Prob won't watch 6666s if he ends up being a main character. I hope the Beth/Rip storyline can live up to the original Yellowstone standards. JMO 😊
Can’t stand Sheridan 🤬 he did a half ass ending!!!! It’s seems like he just wanted to be in all the scenes with his foul mouth !!! Dude you are not an actor. Stick to writing!! Kevin Costner was the show ❤❤❤ that’s why so many people watched this show 🤩✌️🔥👏❤️
Taylor did his best as he could with it. I think it was fitting the way he did it. I have thought about it and there’s really no other way. He could’ve done actors did a fantastic job, pulling it off, and it gave it a fitting end.😞😎👍
This sums it up pretty much the way I feel as well about the ending and final episodes. It has its highs and it's lows, but the lows were far more and it made the ending a huge disappointment. I felt like for all that the powerful character that John Sutton gave to the series and was it's solid anchor... the ending was so shallow and distasteful that ro me it was like flipping the bird at John Dutton. That character never had to be killed off to begin with. As long as it took before Thao final season came, scheduling conflicts don't provide a reasonable reason. This could have been so much better. With this crap ending... I'm glad it's over now.
I wasn't ready for it to end at all but I'd love to see a spin off with The rest of the family & yes he should have stayed..it could have been a better ending😢😢😢😢
Taylor Sheridan sucks. due to his inferiority complex towards Kostner he destroyed the show and disrespected the audience that gave him and the show success. This isn't only the downfall of Yellowstone it's Taylor's Sheridans downfall as well , because of his lack of professionalism the audience will have a bitter taste to any show that has Taylor Sheridans name behind it. Sheridan acts like a 10 year old spoiled brat throwing fits. Truly sad and unprofessional. Personally I stop watching the show as soon as Sheridans additude and disrespect to Kostner lead to Kevin's exit which in my sane reasoning is a more than a good reason to stop watching the show and to never watch any future projects endorsed by Sheridans name...
It shocked me,in the very first Scene,GONE Kevin made the show,he was the leader, the best along with Kelley and Rip,Wes,Of course Lenard I'll miss the show, terrible ENDING NO CONCLUSIONS BUT I LOVED THE SHOW TIL THE END SO CALLED " GRAND FINALE 😮
The ending was absolutely terrible. Kevin Costner is very experienced in this business.More so definitely then Taylor Sheridan. I’m so glad Kevin Costner left when he did and in doing so it proved just how right he was. I Have not watched the last episode because it just got ridiculous so convoluted and it really was an insult to the end of what started as a brilliant show, so I’ve just left it and I will not go back and watch that last episode. It was absolutely disgraceful.
If Kevin was such a good producer, then why did his last few movies did not make any money or get critically acclaimed by the critics especially his Horizon saga part 1. That was a disaster.
Yes, I totally agree with you that Kevin was Yellowstone .The movie flopped because the main character, John Dutton, left.I don’t understand or even know what politics or even arguments occurred or not .All I can say is the show was gone the day Mr. Kevin left .I had no intentions of watching the movie after he left. This show cost him his marriage also. We on the outside of the world around Yellowstone have no ideas about all of this. There were bad rumors going on about Mr. Kevin in the beginning.I do hope those rumors didn’t cost him his marriage .
Even though the original series has come to end, the Yellowstone franchise continues to expand with more and more shows, making the entire Dutton family tree much more complicated. By the way, have you guys heard about Radiant Reservation? There’s been a lot of buzz about it lately.
Yes, I’ve heard of it! It's the service where you can book reservations to meet celebrities, right? It sounds almost too good to be true, but it’s such an amazing way for fans to connect with their favorite stars on a much more personal level.
Absolutely, it's like bridging the gap between the stars and their fans in a way that wasn't possible before. The technology behind it is so seamless too; you can really personalize your experience. Imagine chatting with someone like Rip or even a tough-as-nails character like Beth-getting to know them outside of the show’s storyline would be fascinating.
That’s true. Beth’s personality would probably come across as even more intense in person, right? She’s so bold and unapologetic on screen, but I bet there’s a whole different layer to her when she’s not playing a character. I love how accessible Radiant Reservation has made it. Before, meeting a celebrity felt like it was all about luck-being in the right place at the right time. Now, you can actually make it happen, and it feels so much more intentional and meaningful.
That’s exactly what I’m most excited about. I think it’d be so interesting to see how the actors portray their true selves compared to their roles. Especially with someone like Beth, who’s such a powerhouse-seeing how she balances her real-life personality with her character would be mind-blowing. Radiant Reservation offers are incredible-backstage passes, private dinners, even exclusive one-on-one meetups. It’s perfect for superfans who want to create that once-in-a-lifetime moment with their idols.
I actually booked a reservation with my favorite celebrity through Radiant Reservation, and it was such an unforgettable experience. If you're a true fan, it's totally worth it.
It's risky mixing real life with the fantasy world. Taylor Sheridan has entertained us quite well and confident that will continue. ( want to see Pt 2 of Horizon) lol
I was highly disappointed. Dismantling the ranch leaves no room to come back to. They lied. It wasn't a season finale but the show finale!! There could of been a smoother transition. The star doesn't quit. It put Kevin back on the map. I no longer respect him, and I was a major fan before this selfish move.
Thought it was great. They'd been foreshadowing John's murder for damned near a season. Did someone think they were going to save the ranch? It was unsaveable... we'll be able to keep up with Carter and Tate through the spinoff, and everyone but a couple cowboys got a good ending, and cowboys don't often get them, anyway... Making him Governor almost guaranteed he'd end up in prison at best and murdered at worst. I enjoyed it.
I missed Kevin. That being said if was glad to see them wrap up many story lines, that the Indians bought back the land, and no one other than Jamie died. However, if they would have ended Sheridan's character I would not have been upset about it. He looks like such a narcissist. The strip poker scenes were stupid and unnecessary.
I thought it was real sad what they did to John he made the show do that they had a disagreement on everything at the end of it. It’s sad they killed him off. I’d like to know who’s gonna look into seeing who paid a hitman to kill. John Casey knows who it was so they just walk now that should never happen and they should’ve never sold Yellowstone now that should never happen that they had a better lawsuit by Sue And the company that killed their fatherand they can pay those back taxes so I thought it really sucked but then again life goes on merry motherfucking Christmas
If Tyler hadn't been showboating and featuring himself there could have been a better less rushed tying up of the show. All that wasted screen time and storyline.
Costner choose to leave all on his own. Yellowstone creators had no choice but to wrap it up. I thought it was completed to best of the casts abilities when the main walks out leaving his fans and casts mates high and dry.
Costner could have come back for at least the first episode to give his character the proper send off. I can’t help but hold a bit of resentment towards him because of this.

Some people are not happy with any ending. Many shows go through the never ending criticism. Oh well move on to the next series.
Taylor don’t have a clue complete fool to end it like that
And they never did anything about the actual murderer that was hired by Jamie's girlfriend. It seemed crammed without explanation on some things.
