I made that exact crewel, "Life is Fragile Handle with Care" for my mom around 1980. The kit came from a company called, Creative Circle. At the time, it was one of those home party type things. I got it back after my mom passed and it's hanging in my home now. Very fun to see how excited you were to find it.
That is awesome! I love it and would love one as well. Love the sentiment andctgat it looks like the South Carolina state bird, the Carolina Wren. How sweet that your mother kept it all those years and it returned to you. Be sure it is passed along to a family member who will appreciate it with a note pinned to the back! I have a few of my Grandmother's pieces I have been repairing, cleaning, and passing along to my cousin's child. She's the only GreatGrand. She may decide later what to do. Your story was very special! I'll be looking at piece up!

Fun fact, on framed paintings, the inner frame (usually made of wood and sometimes covered in velvet like yours) is called a Marie-Louise in French. :) The origin of the term is debated but I find it so pretty and quirky!
Showstopper = that candelabra for that price! The small painting is precious. I have a ton of local artists' (South Carolina) that I've collected and must hang. But, I love other pieces like that tossed in! Love the eagle - I collect Americana: eagles, flags, 1776 commemoratives, smaller classics like that! I have those cranes! I'm planning to add them to a couple of birdbaths for fun! The large bird and yellow crewl piece pulls at my heartstrings from my childhood. Great shopping the event with you! I just found you two weeks ago, so I am enjoying old videos. You are a lovely lady. I really love that you dress well and present yourself so nicely. I know it's not required. But, in sales, and in presentations, it is very much a plus!

Thank you for sharing don't know if you notice that your haul had the sam palette love everything in the haul especially the lamp I say keep it not often you find one so until you find another then you can part with it so it's a keeper. Have a wonderful blessed Saturday and weekend.

Yay! Welcome to reselling! There are a few tools out there that will actually cross post your eBay listings on other sites/apps. You could look into doing that. Etsy works well for me, but it can be involved to set up. Not hard, just lots of steps. Thanks for binging my channel! :)
