I was hesitant for a year before picking up my SHOCKS®Pro ( Previously AfterSHOCKS ). I was the last delivery driver at our warehouse to get a pair when everyone else has had them for a year or more. I felt like the odd man out so I caved and got them today. Just WOW ! I have been missing out seriously ! No wonder I see alot of Fed Ex, UPS, and other delivery driver services with them ! I don't feel so left out anymore ! :D

I've been using the Aeropex Aftershokz for quite some time now, and they were great when I was teaching from home, especially because my Chromebook has some pretty bad speakers. Now I use them at school when kids are confined at home for whatever reason, and they join the class on-line from home, and with these on they can hear me and communicate with me even if I move away from the computer.
I also like wearing them just to listen to some music, but still feeling like I'm part of the world around me. The quality is better than I expected. They're so comfy and the battery easily lasts me all day, it's been one of my favourite tech investments of 2020. See, 2020 wasn't ALL bad! 🤭

I bought a pair several months ago and the sound quality is much better than the titanium air pair I've been using for several years. I deliver refrigerated products and being able to use ear plugs when the reefer is running and still take calls ect is great.

Your description of the bass buzz on BCH's reminds me of an acquaintance that was describing listening the bassy music as "2 wasps on each temple making out like teenagers" at which point I noticed he put stickers of a yellowjacket on both sides of the headphones. He was really proud of that one so I think he used that description allot.

I have these for my wife who works on a computer all day, she likes hers. It takes a while to get use of them. I have mine that I use around loud machinery if I need to hear a phone call, and of course the person on the other end cannot hear my machinery. They are perfect for listening to TH-cam videos also.

Been using the aeropex for almost 2 years, rock solid option while working from home. While I use a seperate mic for video calls, phone calls through my mobile have had no issues in terms of being able to pickup my voice.
Still thinking about picking up a pair of these just for video calls though with the work laptop as I’m trying to work in different areas of my house to mix it up.

Just recently made the jump to Shokz OpenRun Pro since I was mostly using my Galaxy Live buds or headphones with Transparency mode on, but even with those options being pretty decent when nothing is playing, the moment you have the volume above a certain point, you can't really hear much off your surroundings since music is a noise cancellation in itself. With the shockz I actually found myself enjoying my walks much more than anything I used before. Even if in quiet trails it's nice to hear the atmosphere of my surroundings like the birds chirping or walks along the shorelines and having anything I listen to blend into my surroundings is a very relaxing experience for me. Obviously they aren't gonna be my first choice for indoor listening but when I'm out and about on my feet or even on my bike, having the absolute best sound quality isn't going to matter if I'm purposely wanting to be able to hear my surroundings. Really looking forward to where the brand and the technology will progress in the future for sure!

Been using the the aeroplex for work before Covid. They are AMAZING for stand by when you are expecting a call and need to answer quickly. I was often waiting for customers and my boss to call while playing Xbox or watching a show. Amazing. I wish they could do a truly wireless design though, cannot use them in bed or the gym when you are on your back or rolling.
Air pods Pro are better for ANC though than plugging your ears. In loud environments the Galaxy Buds Pro are better.

See update to this post below, good news after all. I just bought a pair over the weekend and I like them a lot, and for all the reasons you reported. The mic however is not as good as hoped, yet far better than my neckband's mic, or earbud's mic. People still complain I sound like I'm in a cave or on a speaker phone, which makes me Go Bananas. Do you have tricks to make them work better/best? Thanks so much. By the way, my husband wears hearing aids and loves the OpenComm set since it solves so many issues for hearing aid people like him. Great News! I spent 45+ minutes with AfterShokz support (Myra was wonderful) and now the OpenComm mic is working perfectly! Should I delete the post or simply edit that there is an update? I was concerned about safeness level of a bone conduction earphones comapring to regular ones before buying my aeropex, so here is a sum up. As listening music on a high volume through regular headphones can damage eardrums, Its the same effect with bone conduction earphones BUT the damage is dealt to cochlea. Basic instructions would be to reduce volume whether you feel pain or discomfort.
