If this nano beast is a direct bolt up to stock transmission then I would opt for this over komodo motor. I don't want to start moving electronics around as I don't know how. Just subscribed and 👍
Dont want any speed in the scx24 what so ever, but want torque, lots of it :) Been looking for something small and torquey and really havent liked most of the motors Ive seen, like the komodo, WAY to big, way to high up.. but this guy, looks exactly what I want :)
I just ordered one of the 2.0 models with mount plate. Along with the Furitek Lizard Pro set and 333 frame rails. Hoping to build a crawler that'll scale a wall if I try it. LOL
After having my c10 a little while I want to do it just like this truck I will have to get me a list of everything you said this truck has like a parts list

Greetings! I am going to be building an SCX24 "from a catalogue", since I can't see the sense in buying a donor truck when literally everything will eventually be replaced with upgraded parts. I plan on using predominantly Mofo parts (Ugly AF carbon frame, brass axle housings with bulletproof gears, brass bulletproof tranny, beast servo, servo mount). I know I will be using the Furitek Lizard esc - just not set on a motor yet. I was talking to a couple other guys on youtube asking about the nano beast. One of them said he has been through three of them, but has yet to burn out a furitek komodo. Is that a coincidence, or was he using the v1 nano beast? Is the v2 nano beast better about reliability/longevity? Where are you in Texas? I am in NE Texas near Greenville.
Where did you find those swampers I have boggers already that I cut myself that work great but those swampers are the most realistic ones I’ve seen on an rc and they actually have some depth, almost looks like the Intercos?
Usually you go up in kv you get less torque. But since we are not going up that high in kv. There shouldn't be to much difference. But definitely less torque more speed.
@@HolmesHobbies usually the notching a motor feels the more torque. Less notchy the less torque and higher the kv. Usually. But in this case not bumping that high in kv not gonna be a big difference

@moforc Mine came with a washer that the original nanobeast motor did not come with. Does this go with the nylon transfer gear?

Usually you go up in kv you get less torque. But since we are not going up that high in kv. There shouldn't be to much difference. But definitely less torque more speed.
motor is also longer for more torque, 2mm longer motor but actually about a 3mm longer stator
getting both more torque and more speed
With brushless, higher kv can actually deliver more torque
