I just put the 050 torquebeast 3.0 with 20T brass pinion and motor plate into my Scx24 rock bouncer on the stock 2S bat and it’s the best thing I ever did. Much love for Mofo RC 🤙🏼

Very good demonstration. Looks like torque beast 3.0 will be my future option. Your 4100kv BAM motor is nuts by the way. Stock plastic transmission gears don't stand a chance
Appreciate the overview of these. I just ordered an 050 torquebeast 3.0 since it's the only brushed motor I can find that'll take a 3S. I definitely need to run either a brushless system or a decent brushed motor since I'm up around 800g in weight without the battery so I'm hoping this will work well over my Injora 50T 050 motor which I don't feel too comfortable running a 3S anyways.
Update...unfortunately, it was a major downgrade. Not just compared to a Makerfire 050 or an Injora 050 motor, but the way it runs under load or otherwise is very wobbly all the way through the throttle curve which seems like it may be contributing to my main issue which is my gladiator feels like I just put a puttering version of the stock motor right back in. I followed the guide on for brushed motors break in to see if there's anything I missed, but everything here was done as shown and how I've always done and seen with any brushed motor. It has speed, but nearly DOA for torque. Wonder if it's just my motor, but for the price on this I feel defeated 😮💨
So I did a search and came up with nothing. Anyone tell me the difference between an 030 and an 050 motor, aside from physical size? Is one slower? One have more torque? One just lasts longer???? Thanks!
I’m having some issues an I can’t seem to troubleshoot it I’ve switch poloraity on the motor the issue I’m having is forwards is now reverse an reverse is forwards I have the big block do I need a different mount or something?
