@@dougmccuskerpoker💯 But my point was that people expect/prefer that Zeus and Kaylah are included in every vlog of yours and Deach’s vlogs respectively.
I loved the 64s hand. I play it occasionally myself. When you get there, it's very disguised. Well played. Nice 2 sessions. Keep up the great work, Doug!!! #Zeus
Wow, that story you told on the river in that last hand was ballsy as hell. I wouldn't have folded if I had either of their hands, and I'm a pretty tight player!
Subscribed and liked...been watching for a while, but didn't realize I hadn't subbed. Thanks for sharing content and always good to remind everyone to motivate that algorithm 💫👀.
You often make a reference to having the correct pot odds or not. Can you go through an example of how you calculate that quickly at the table please? Love your Channel
I talk a little bit about this on the next vlog. Basically, I memorize common situations and odds, then calculate if my current price is giving me a “discount”. $200 pot, some bets $50. If I call $50, pot will be $300. If I have 20% equity, my expected return is $60. So I am getting a good price to call. My expected value(ev) is +$10.
Ironic that you won a hand with that 6-4, playing last week I had 6-4 off in the SB, UTG came in for 3x and a bunch of callers, I'm getting better than 6 to 1 to flick in a call in the SB, so decided I would just see a flop, 587 rainbow. I wasn't able to get it all in, but I did get 3 streets of value from 2 players at the table for a decent pot. One of them was shocked because of my tight image that I would call preflop with just 6-4 off. It was only costing me 5 dollars to call, and unless I smash the flop it's an easy fold.
With 4 to a flop, when the board pairs, I’m more reluctant to raise all in, lots of low sets could be there. I guess a set would raise turn as the board is straightening
Everyone gets old, someday you will too. Not jamming AK is nitty, but I adjust to my opponents. This particular player was playing a very tight range and blindly jamming is a mistake IMO.
Doug, Zeus is iconic and a must appearance for every one of your vlogs just like “Kaylah’s Corner” is a must for Ben Deach’s vlog.
I think most would rather look at Kaylah than Zeus. lol
@@dougmccuskerpoker💯 But my point was that people expect/prefer that Zeus and Kaylah are included in every vlog of yours and Deach’s vlogs respectively.
Doug is good. Kaitlyn is bad.
@@TuckertonWSOP who is Kaitlyn?
She works at the Peppermill in Reno, Ben Deach’s home casino. She looks better than Zeus.
I loved that raise turn with QJ and your reasoning for it, your read was spot on
It was the perfect set up to go for the raise.

Thanks so much!! Every now and then it is deceptive to play those types of hands. I am sure its stuck in everyones head.
Nice hand folding out those aces. That was a hoot to watch. Way to pay attention to the passivity. Nice vlog doug!
Its not a move I recommend, but I had the perfect set up to attempt it.
Thanks for the video and description on what’s going on in your head as you play..it is great for me to improve my game.
Glad to help. That's what helped my game the most, hearing the reasoning behind the play.
Glad you’re back on track. Good lessons on how to exploit a perception that you’re playing a tight range. Even Zeus had to tell you nice raise
I couldn't resist making that move, it was very likely to work.
Last player was NOT HAPPY 🤣🤣 slamming his chips down to match your all in. Nice sessions
He acted not happy, but then got it all in. For most players, that was a easy fold.
Wow, that story you told on the river in that last hand was ballsy as hell. I wouldn't have folded if I had either of their hands, and I'm a pretty tight player!
Both players know I know they are tight as hell. Therefore if I make a move, I must be able to beat their range.
Zeus: "I thought we agreed not to do that shit" 😂🤣🏆LMAO!!!
I laughed at that too!!
Zeus is very direct.

Awesome! Thank you! I appreciate the sub and like. Getting a little closer to 10k everyday.
Zeus cracked me up lol
… nice raise
Zeus is results original oriented on that hand
@@dougmccuskerpoker 🤣. Never question the Zeus!!
Another great vlog Doug🎉🎉❤
Thanks, I appreciate you saying that.
Loved the queen jack hand
Its nice when a plan works the way you think it will.
You honestly have played great in all the hands your showing
Wow, thank you

At 07:28 I guessed you're up pocket kings .such an obvious call lol.keep up the good work and hug Zeus for me
some hands play themselves, Zeus likes hugs
After seeing the kings hand I want to move to Sacramento.
As I continuously say, the games here are the best around.
after every hand if you win or lose i would like to see how much you won and lost. i think it would be a great addition to the videos!
I feel my graphics and info is enough
Great Vlog! Zeus is too funny!
Thank you! 😊
Good old Z-dog :)
Zeus is the best

Using your image to your advantage is vital
With 4 to a flop, when the board pairs, I’m more reluctant to raise all in, lots of low sets could be there. I guess a set would raise turn as the board is straightening
If he had 2 pair or better, I would know about it on the turn.
pJs is a boat on the end 💀. Nice win though :)
Thanks
Yeah I’m first!
yay
"Both of them are kind of risk averse."
I imagine getting some loose calls from them in the future
Playing different hands the same way is just as deceptive as playing the same hand different ways and it's easier on the memory
true, I do believe that mixing up your play in both manners is beneficial.
@@dougmccuskerpoker I'm 79. Too much work to try to remember how I played the hand last time

:-)
Those players who' had AJ & AQ, will not be folding those hands against you in the future!!!! Good for content, but you are giving away your secrets.
They both watch the channel, so they now know I am capable of making a move. Might actually work in my favor getting paid off.

Nice slow roll at 8:50
Huh?? I just rewatched that part like 3 times.. he immediately shows when the villain shows KK. What slow roll?
I waited for him to show, then I showed my hand. No slow roll
