I would have never guessed that this is a one block wonder. I was thinking this quilt was made with 2 blocks, the pin wheel and the block that has 2 opposite corners, snowballed. I hope you are adjusting well on your mission. My brother went on his mission to Washington DC, and my nephew went to New South Wells on his. Thanks again for such a fun pattern.
So good to see you, Jenny, even if it is a recording! I could not figure out how this could be a one block wonder…until you showed me! That is amazing!
Jeannie. I just wanted to tell you how much I love watching your videos. You make them all look so easy and they are beautiful quilts. You have the sweetest, kindness voice ❤️. Thank you so much for every video. I'm 78 and just picked up quilting (again) about a year ago. Your always using the word "fun" and that's so sweet. You, yourself make quilting so much "FUN".
I thought this would be made with a pinwheel and a signature block. The actual block construction was much easier and more versatile. This will be going onto my to-list.
Jenny- Thank you for your wonderful tutorials. You give me hope and confidence that I can make quilts like this beautiful quilt. My brain turns tings around and I get frustrated sometimes but you make me feel like I can do it trying maybe a different way. Thank you!!😊
Thank you, Jennie. This reminds me of the antique lace quilt tutorial that you made. That is my all-time favorite but you got a little confused in it and I got a little confused right along with you and I keep going back and re-watching the video to figure out where I went wrong and I’ve never been able to so I have these giant beautiful squares that I’ve never put together because I know somethings wrong with them, please remake the antique lace quilt tutorial so we can see it one more time. Thank you so much. We love you.
🤯😊 it’s amazing to me how you look at something and try and understand how it’s made, then you find out how it’s made and it’s nothing like you thought!😂. Hope things are well in your travels.
Hi Jenny. Was at your Main store today and met your Grandson Gideon. What a great young man. Saying "Hi from Barb from Minnesota. I loved the Years Favorite quilt. Loved your store. 🥰
I’m definitely going to make this!! 💜🎉 It appears much more complicated than it really is. As always, Jenny makes it doable with her down to earth teach style! Thanks for teaching us over the years, Jenny! The recipients of my quilts think I’m so talented but I simply continue refining my skills as you have taught me. Best teacher ever!!! 🩷💜
Jenny, it’s great to see you doing a tutorial while you are actually on your mission trip. This quilt is stunning! I love the colors of the fabric you used. I’m going to add this one to my list. 🌸🩷🩷🩷🌸
So Fun. This is so creative and beautiful. I love the layout options. Thank you for sharing this with us. God be with you till we meet again 💟🙏🤟🍀🌹🦓🤗🥄🥄🥄🥄Liz in California 😊
I love this and want to try it soon. You are so far away and still making Fridays a funday! I've been watching the updates you have put out and wish you and Ron a fabulous work week. ❤
@@sandramyer7081 Make half square triangles the way they are made here with 10X10 inch squares. You will need 2 10 inch squares the same pattern because it takes 32 hs triangles to make a block,
I admit,to being a more traditional quilter with those fabrics, but I just put this layer cake into my basket!!! And I got, too, thunking how really cool this pattern would look with some other modern fabrics (like Kaffe or Tilda or others!) that scare me silly! Ans then how about Christmas, Halloween, Spring, etc! My guild makes smaller quilts for children in crisis every year and this looks like it would even work with some of the more “unusual” (being kind here!) fabrics that we have been graced with! We will have a change of officers for 2025/26 so I’m going to suggest this pattern as an alternate to strippy quilts, etc. maybe even slightly larger HST and squares???
When I first looked as the quilt, I expected you to be using a pinwheel block and a half-snowballed block. But I see, watching the video, that your method was more efficient

Me too!
Me too.
Me 3
That is how I saw it too, but this is even easier! Thanks, Jenny! God bless you and keep you safe.😊
😮😮😮😮
Wow! This is even easier than I already thought it would be. Mind blown 🤯
Me too! I saw two different blocks, one snowballed on two corners; the other pinwheels. No, it's one block repeated!
So good to see you, Jenny, even if it is a recording! I could not figure out how this could be a one block wonder…until you showed me! That is amazing!
That backing fabric!!!!😍
I love how Jenny trimmed the HSTs. I need to remember that!
I’ve tried that method a few times, works well.

Oh how I love Jenny’s ‘pedal to the metal’ sewing!! Beautiful quilt. I miss Jenny’s tutorials but love Missy & Natalie’s videos too.
Jenny we miss you❤
That backing fabric is gorgeous almost too nice to be on the back of a quilt. All those HSTs!
Such an interesting block. Love the many ways it can come together for a quilt top. Thanks Jenny 💜
The sky is the limit with patterns of this quilt.
Jenny thank you. It is always great to see when a block can be changed so that it makes a completely different quilt depending on the placement.
Year's Favourite was the first block I pieced of a year-long quiltalong -- my first. Love the backing fabric
I thought this would be made with a pinwheel and a signature block. The actual block construction was much easier and more versatile. This will be going onto my to-list.
Loved seeing you Jenny! Looking forward to an update from Africa sometime soon! The girls are doing spectacular!
This turned out so cute and I am surprised how easy it looks as you do it.
Thanks Jenny! You can make 3 different quilts, that's awesome!

i love that backing fabric! and the quilt.
I love this quilt! I have plenty of Layer Cakes to choose from, too. In fact, I just got one delivered yesterday from MSQC!
This could also be a great use for left over HSTs.

You might look for the Petite Antique Lace quilt tutorial that Jenny did. Maybe that will help you figure it out. It's not different just smaller.
Misty did it again in blue, look for that one.
🤯😊 it’s amazing to me how you look at something and try and understand how it’s made, then you find out how it’s made and it’s nothing like you thought!😂. Hope things are well in your travels.
I loved the square! I have plenty of left over half star triangles from other patterns. I am going to try a block and have a scrappy table topper. Yay
Great ideas, Jenny! Love the "What if we turn it this way..." because I'm not a big fan of the pinwheels. Blessings to you and Ron in Africa!!!
It may be one quilt, but she has so many ideas to go along with it!
Hi Jenny. Was at your Main store today and met your Grandson Gideon. What a great young man. Saying "Hi from Barb from Minnesota. I loved the Years Favorite quilt. Loved your store. 🥰
It's totally cool. I love the "what if" ideas. You could even combine them to make another awesome quilt! Thanks Jenny❤
I absolutely love the variety in this quilt. Video saved for a future project. 😂

Jenny pre recorded the videos to the end of the year before she left on her trip.. She told about it on one of her Tuesday Newsday videos. ❤
So many ideas so little time! It would be so easy to also make different sized quilts with this block.
So did I! Now, can I wait a whole month before opening it!!!
I love this quilt, the one block quilts are so nice to make. May God be with you and your husband on your journey.

Holy cow! You can make the Antique Lace quilt using 10" squares!
How?

Funny I saw a pin wheel block and a snowballed block before you said how to make it. Lovely quilt
So did I! Amazed at what she did with this.

You are sew onto something, modern fabrics with this pattern would be sew beautiful! Hope you enjoy your new pattern friend!
Wow! Love this!😊
My brain sees a pinwheel block next to a snowballed square block.
Good morning 😊 i was wondering what model baby lock are you using? Looks like fun 😄 great quilt thanks
I really wanted to order backing but I can't find it on website. Bummer. Beautiful quilt
Love this one and I also love that you are using the BabyLock machine, Sorry but I really don't like the newer machines that the girls use.
❤❤❤
what is the name/maker of the gorgeous backing fabric please? i NEED this in my stash. great tutorial as always
It looks like you can make a pinwheel and a snowballed block for the same result.
Just checked and the backing is sold out! Hopefully it will be restocked?
Love this quilt. What is the name of the backing fabric? Where can I buy it? Thank you!

Beautiful quilt! What kind of sewing machine is that? ❤
It looks like a Bay Lock.
I see a fun table runner coming out of this!
I am thinking, pinwheel block then a half snowball block
✨😃✨😃✨😃✨
Are the 16 hst's on the bias?
I was wondering that too. And I think they are since the stiched line is on the grain.
