It's "Bond tries too hard to be XXX meets Bourne" and forgetting what always made the Bond movies so watchable and entertaining. Instead the Craigs end up all so depressing and cool. and not the good kind of cool but the heartless and emotionally uninvested one.

It is easily the smartest and most well made movie of the whole bunch that perfectly encapsulates Bond from his most popular traits to examining his deepest flaws with a script that I still can’t believe a human being was capable of writing.

Goldfinger in previous years always used to be the No.1 Bond film but has been knocked of it's perch. Timothy Dalton is my favourite Bond and his 2nd and last outing Licence to Kill has my favourite Bond girl of all time Carey Lowell as Pam Bouvier. Daniel Craig's run as Bond mirrors the Star Trek franchise in that his odd numbered movies are good while the even numbered are rubbish.
