So…the thaleron generator you speak of was destroyed when the ship exploded. The device on the station was the smaller unit used to kill the Romulan Senate.
@@CertifiablyIngame Its ok. I had to think about it for a minute. Biggest game changer would be the Genesis Device. The fact that - after 100 years - they still haven't perfected it is telling. Proto-matter was the only way they could get it to work in Kirk's time, and that made for an unstable mess. Them actually managing to work it out and perfect it is frightening, for all you'd need is one copy of the plans to get out, and it's mass carnage everywhere. No planets destroyed (as in the physical planet itself) but life would be wiped out, replaced, rebirthed - entire civilizations could be eradicated with "no fallout" with ease. Even worse, if they THINK they got it worked out, try it on an empty dead planet, only for a "genesis wave" to start propagating through all of space and time? (yes, something like that happened in a novel I read). Sometimes scientists just want to play God. "Eager beavers" as Polaski once commented. Best to leave some things alone. At least for now. I doubt the people's of the Federation are wise enough for THAT level of "god-powers" just yet.
Seems like way too much space station for what the Institute is doing. Looks like several Galaxy glass saucer sections plus a bunch more. Based on what you described, there should be football fields of unused space on that station.
Area 51/Dugway (USA) Kapustin Yar (Russia), Pine Gap (Australia), Porton Down/Rudloe Manor (Britain), Lop Nur (China), Room 39 (North Korea). Its no secret, every country have secret R&D facilities. This is nothing new.
The genetically-altered tribble isn't the only life-form inside the station. There's a more recent acquisition, kept in a specially designed space with shielded vents and frictionless walls, among other security features. An ample supply of calcium and other nutrients is maintained. (If you haven't guessed where this is going by now, you haven't been paying attention.) Its characteristic sound is constantly monitored to insure it hasn't escaped... ... ... ..."Moopsy!"👻💀
A carnivorous tribble actually seems like a terrible idea,. pretty sure they'd just eat everything (including each other) immediately and then starve to death.

Is it possible that not only was this Soong-type hybrid android, with Data's and other Soong-type personalities, dose it/he also has Doctor Richard Daystrom's infamous M-5 multitronic unit (AKA the M5 Computer) from "The Ultimate Computer" TOS episode, incorporated into it/him, somehow... is one of the personalities within the hybrid android, perhaps hidden, is that of the original M5 Computer, I wonder..?
They also have the McGuffin Beam Emitter.
that ghost lantern 😂
Thats shakar !
So…the thaleron generator you speak of was destroyed when the ship exploded. The device on the station was the smaller unit used to kill the Romulan Senate.
That would make more sense....
@@CertifiablyIngame Its ok. I had to think about it for a minute. Because Section 31 had Data...but then I remember his memories and personality were added to B4...which meant Data wasn't recovered from the destroyed ship. Therefore, the only device left would have been the small one at the beginning of the movie. Really fascinating. Love your channel. Keep up the good work.
The TARDIS would have been a fun Easter egg to have in there!
Am I alone in thinking the daystrom station isn’t very well protected? Like c’mon.
For the good of all life and civilization the carnivorous tribble must die!
So kirk and archers bodies being stored there makes a lot of sense, their bodies were either damaged or died of old age.
Now, imagine if 2 LEGENDARY enterprise captains came back to see what the federation has become as well as seeing the ships at the museum.
Now you tell me, a movie where archer and kirk go around seeing the federation they helped build and their original ships still intact...
You tell me that wouldn't be insane.
So this is the equivalent of the Black archive in Doctor Who right?
The Galaxy changing information two things actually the modified transporter used by Scotty to stay in transporter stasis for 75 years also whatever the hell they figured out the Fountain of Youth from that episode Rascals that would definitely change Star Trek forever
I could see section 31 using genesis in secret to create idea worlds for colonization, expanding the federation physically in the direction they want it to grow.
Even the Star Trek universe has the SCP Foundation it seems.
They use section 31 as a cover
You missed that they had either Tucker’s or Archer’s body in Daystrom Station.
Archer's.
@@michaelmacleod6517 I’ve seen people arguing about it and I haven’t had a chance to freeze frame it on my big screen yet. Either way Daystrom Station seems to have a lot of dead bodies in their archives…
To be honest, I've barely seen it myself.
Is that real? They moved so quickly it was very hard to freeze frame?
Nothing the ship captains body's they have on hand have been exposed to some sort of spatial phenomenon, like The Nexus, temporal travel, or other Treknobabble.
7:52 it is comforting to know that even in the 25th century, LCARS is still susceptible to spelling errors… to
The Dyson sphere, sure you can't stick it in a station but there should be Federation scientists crawling all over that thing documenting it's technology.
THAT would make a great series!
I think it's like . DaRPA and the United States military. ( government)
The self sealing stem bolts should be rained😁😁😁 down upon the galaxy so they can fix every broken thing and every woo out there... ;-)
I wonder whether a certain Phase Cloaking device also keep in the Daystrom Station
P.S. I also heard they do experiment on the Changelings there........🤔🤔🤔🤔
Does anyone know the name of the score/song during the Borg technology part? Thanks
Kirks Libido would be a devastating wapon!
Everybody should have self sealing stem bolts
one of the most useful items in the universe
Who says that it hasn't been perfected??
Seems like way too much space station for what the Institute is doing. Looks like several Galaxy glass saucer sections plus a bunch more. Based on what you described, there should be football fields of unused space on that station.
They used up a fair bit of room with all that stuff in the warehouse from Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Some of it may be cloaked
That's just part of the station's inventory, we didn't see it all.
By the sound of things, Daystrom Station is the SCP Foundation of the Federation.
Basically
Area 51/Dugway (USA) Kapustin Yar (Russia), Pine Gap (Australia), Porton Down/Rudloe Manor (Britain), Lop Nur (China), Room 39 (North Korea). Its no secret, every country have secret R&D facilities. This is nothing new.
I want a Project Phoenix series. ;)
You can read Shatner's Trek novels for that. Brace yourself for some...stuff.
@@Corbomite_Meatballs Probably best to get drunk before reading them. It'll dull the pain.
@@Corbomite_Meatballs I did read The Return way back in the day, it was ok for what it was.
3:27 You know, I was gonna ask myself why you'd want an android duplicator, but I think I can see the points.
Good thing they never got their hands on Carl!
The genetically-altered tribble isn't the only life-form inside the station. There's a more recent acquisition, kept in a specially designed space with shielded vents and frictionless walls, among other security features.
An ample supply of calcium and other nutrients is maintained.
(If you haven't guessed where this is going by now, you haven't been paying attention.)
Its characteristic sound is constantly monitored to insure it hasn't escaped...

..."Moopsy!"👻💀
why can't i find this anywhere - WHAT IS THE TEXT UNDER KIRK'S BODY??????? it's so hard to read!
A carnivorous tribble actually seems like a terrible idea,. pretty sure they'd just eat everything (including each other) immediately and then starve to death.
one just one , and dooom..
Maybe they only eat regular tribbles like in the animated series, that could be handy in an emergency
@@bumbleguppyseemed very aggressive at even the sight of a human on the other side of the glass.
Section 31 is older than anyone realizes section 31 has been around since the CIA the FBI the NSA and the United States Secret Service they're also the Russian KGB and Scotland Yard
The probably have John F Kennedy's body too!
Just for the hell of it one of the guard ships should have been called the USS Makarov
Marvelous
Wtf, WHY THE TRIBBLE! JUST WHY?!
I want that monster tribble!
It wants you too.
Starfleet's own SCP library
We didn't see them, but 20 bars says Spock's Rocket Boots are at Daystrom Station😆💯🖖
do we know where the fleet skunk works/ area 51 is?
"Whether that means Section 31 is being reformed, held accountable, or Starfleet Intelligence has stooped to their level is a topic for another video."
Let's hope we're not waiting too long for that video.
