I have 6 Piscifun reels and the first one I bought was 7 years ago and it still works great! I have 6 Pisicifun reels in 3 different models and all of my reels are awesome and still working perfectly so I can’t understand how all of these haters coming on TH-cam telling people that Piscifun reels suck beside the fact that maybe they simply don’t like anything that comes from China! If I had listened to them I would have missed out on some awesome budget rods and reels!
What these knuckleheads don’t know is the fact that the so-called “American fishing rods and reels” are also made in China! A few years ago there was this guy that did import/export and he said that many of the Chinese-branded fishing rods and reels that the anti-China haters claimed to be trash were actually made in the same factories in China as the American-branded rods and reels that they raved about! An American company could charge 3-5 times more for their “American” rods and reels simply by adding a couple more features to their rods and reels and a different color scheme and logo than the Chinese-branded logo and these haters would proclaim how much better their “American” rods and reels are than the Chinese ones! Perception and marketing are everything, I guess!

My last reel by them rusted out within two months of weekly use. Black max lasted about two years of the same uses and cleaning routine. Was looking at this for a cheap shallow rock fish reel but might order a jdm shimano or daiwa 300 sized baitcaster in the same $100 price range.

Wish they made a 400. Would like to compare to my Lexa. I’ve caught more red snapper on it than I can count and several in the low 20’s. It’s handled Cobia, small AJ’s and a few yellowfin on top water. Would like to have another option at a third of the price.

Big paddle handle for that reel. Those power handles on baitcast reels make no sense the reel isn't big enough to warrant one , Deep sea jigging maybe but casting lures on the flats why?
