Bit of topic, but removing the 4iron from the 101 set and replace it with a 101type off gap wedge would be a good move in my opinion. And than there's room for the 7 wood for example
Thanks for the test and video. One thing I would like to see Takomo do is have the option to not include the 4 iron in the set being purchased. Following the 24/38 rule, the 4 iron for lower swing speed customers is not necessarily a valid club for the setup, especially more senior golfers.
It's all about maximizing $ for their orders etc, probably easier for them to buy and sell full sets rather than them ordering less 4i heads than the rest of the clubs etc.
Great video. I have just ordered the t101 set. Is there any plans to replace the 4iron with the 7 wood in the future. Seems a waste of money having the 4 iron in the set
AWESOME.................... great video made especially for me, it seems. I recently made the move from game improvement irons to the T-100 irons. Obviously with much weaker lofts and much less forgiving, I now have different gaps and the top end of my irons is around 185 - 190 ish. I have to manipulate an old 5 wood and I cranked up the loft on an old 3 wood just to see if i could manage the yardage any better. Hybrids = Hooks for me, I wanted so much to like any hybrid but the guy that is managing my talent development is on strike.
Same questions for over a year now... 1. Where are the wedges the bryan bros keep teasing? 2. Why can't you provide other lofts and let us customize the shafts on the existing wedges like you can on ALL the other Takomo clubs. I just don't get it..............
I think that comes down to personal preference, I've always disliked hybrids from all lie's/surfaces. I've found my 7 wood has enough loft to make shots from thick rough easy, as well as knocking down darts from the fairway

Nice idea
Love your product. When will the driver/woods be available in lefty? Would have my whole bag from y’all if they would be available
Yes I’d like to see you trying in different settings.

Thanks for the side by side, Tim. I would be all in on seeing how the tinkering with the setting changes the playability.
Great test thanks for the video
We need merch !! I need that hat

Have you noticed a difference playing with the copper irons versus the stainless?
Any ETA on when the utility irons will be back in stock?
Any plans to release left handed woods??
I carry both a 7 wood and a 4 iron. 7 wood for the distance and confidence. 4 iron is for working around obstacles after a poor shot.
great vid 👌

I understand that off a tee but wouldn't a 4 hybrid be easier to play if a tight lie, fairway?

7 wood goes over trees n 4 iron stays under trees! All are just tools in the tool bag! 😂
If it only came left handed :(
