Great job. You over shoot at final.

@@CessSim in real aviation you should plan ahead. That is challenge during actual flight.

@@noneNone-mw1px These are done on purpose. In reality of course would plan ahead and knowing the winds like that this flight in normal circumstances would not have happened. Objective of these videos is purely for some fun and entertainment and not to be taken seriously....hence my Disclaimer at front of Video.....thanks for watching.

@@CessSim I hope I did not offended you. It was only a simple comment as actual pilot myself. I had overshoot many times at final. Anyways I apologize if something something misunderstood here. Cheers mate. 👍👍👍👍

@@noneNone-mw1px not at all. Happy for the feedback but just for people to understand some of these videos are purely entertainment. This was one of those. I have a few pilots on this channel and I greatly appreciate the real life experience. Thanks for tuning in....

No crosswind technique. Really need to teach you how sometime. Those 172 are not forgiving on crosswind without it. But essentially late final aileron into wind (you can give a fair amount) and rudder to straighten up with the runway. This puts the wing that’s in the wind down to prevent it being blown. You will land one wheel only first. Also flapless is not uncommon in xwind.

thanks mate. Appreciate the feedback. I did use the rudder but obviously not enough. I reckon in reality if was blowing 15kn and gusting to over 20kn would be pushing it in any event. Be good if you can post something for me to watch and learn from........The next one I have just completed is even worse !

There's an old saying..."any landing you can walk away from is a good landing"...btw if u want to try some serious xwind landings...try Gibraltar..

Cheers mate. Just need to go back and pick up the landing gear that cone off on landing.....
