    That's disturbing. I hope you see a fix soon. That experience must be wrenching, especially in a sweet home cockpit such as yours.

      Managed to get a fix in the next update (refer to a recent short I posted). Thanks for tuning in.

    Glad to see you back in the air. I can’t speak on xplane, but I know I was having the same issue in msfs with and update on the gtn750. After reading through some forums I found that the new update caused my OBS to longer work causing my plane not follow AP and do weird things like yours just did.

    In real life, if we are flying a aircraft with autopilot as part of the checkout process we are taught how to disable autopilot, electronic trim, they are almost always on their own dedicated circuit breakers. Worst case you can kill the master which likely would work x-plane etc, engine should keep functioning since they work on the magnetos instead.

      Cheers Glenn. Good to know.

    FYI: I just tried flying the Cessna 172 G1000 via autopilot over the Grand Canyon and Melbourne in XPlane 12.0.9-rc-5. I could not reproduce what you saw with simple altitude hold and heading activated. The autopilot worked fine.

      thanks for that. I will try it again over the weekend and see if I replicate the same issue. Must admit I dont think I have updated to latest release yet. Believe still on 12.08

    Did you just do the Xplane 12.08 update? I wonder if it would do the same pitch commands on the ground? Also if you just using heading mode with out the Alt hold what does it do?

    • @CessSim
      @CessSim  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes. Some similar threads here. I reckon could well be a 12.08 issue. Will upgrade to 12.09 and see if replicates the issue. Thanks for the feedback.

    I experienced the same pitch & roll instability a few days ago using X-Plane 12.0.8. I was flying a SR22TN using the Garmin GFC 500. Did you save the X-Plane log.txt file? If so, file a Bug report with X-Plane. If it happens again save the log.txt file and save the flight as a .rep file.

      ahhh this might explain it. I too am on 12.08. Notice that @quantumac in this thread stated didnt have the issue with 12.09-rc5. Will upgrade this and give it another try....May well have been a 12.08 bug. Might also check out the release notes beyond my current installed release........

    X-Plane is simply just showing shes not happy with you spending time with MSFS. She's a little jealous because her competition is more attractive than her. I think you need to reassure her that looks aren't everything. You value her intelligence and sophistication.
