Satsui no Hadou is a force or power that grows in effectiveness with the moral-state of it's victim (but could also completely destroy the user). Literal translation is "Murder Power" and it's implied in Akuma's lore that eventually he intends to invade the Realm of Heaven and kill the Gods with Satsui no Hadou. "My fists will destroy Heaven itself." In contrast, what Ryu is feeling after that moment is the entire conceptualization of Kung Fu "Empty Fist", but is called Power of Nothingness and is the opposite of it. Murderous Energy Aura basically means the wielder has mastered the Satsui no Hadou and has complete control over it, implying that Thanos is able to use all of the powers capacity, and since he has Titan durability, won't take damage like Gouki will. Weirdly, you can't be inherently evil to use this power or it will completely overtake you (Case in Point, Oni Akuma). So it has to mean MvC Thanos isn't actually morally evil, leaving that territory for Ultron Sigma.

Good to see X being a protagonist after years in capcom's basement. He deserves it. X doesn't need a reboot as they tried to do with that generic shooter Maverick Hunter. X needs a game with some more focus on his development and personality. In Megaman Zero, he talks a little about the centuries of war, saying that the worst thing for him, was when he realized that he didn't care anymore about destroying his enemies, it is just the thing that happens with any soldiers in a war: death becomes something normal, they don't care if someone died in front of them, they don't care if they have to kill more. Not because they are not good people, it is just war's effect.
I've always thought that if zero didn't leave x for his stasis, maybe x would have faced things better. Sure, the desesitization would still be there (everything becomes too much, after all), but x wouldn't be alone to deal with a ruined world. He'd have someone who understands a fellow warrior who has gone through a number of wars and that x ultimately just wants peace, not people who worship him for his contributions. Tbh x at least was able to realize he didn't care anymore and made steps to prevent becoming a monster. The original storyline keiji inafune had for rkmnz with x as the antagonist is terrifying and heartbreaking

And unless you play the x series spinoffs, the zero series had more of the cutscenes and npc interactions, so we get to see more on the effects of the wars. The opening and ending scenes in z1 just.... like, dang. As much as zero's stasis move was kind of selfish, he had something going there for him. Still salty for leaving x by himself, though

There's a reason that MVC chose the voice actors from Avengers EMH instead of Assemble. This story mode has been ragged on alot but it's 100 times better than Avengers Assemble

There's a reason that MVC chose the voice actors from Avengers EMH instead of Assemble. This story mode has been ragged on alot but it's 100 times better than Avengers Assemble

most old school fighting game fans could take or leave a story mode. It's the younger generation that demands a story mode and they have more disposable income.
