    Thank you so much for another very helpful video! All the monoprints turned out beautiful!
    Thank you also for always trying out different mediums, like at 6:03, so we your viewers didn't have to. We have saved so much time and money because you shared your results with us. Thank you! ❤️🤗❤️

    Thank you so Nitsa for being so thorough with your experimenting to teach us. For example, testing out three different primers on the canvas board to see which worked best before showing us your final technique. You are a master!🎨🎨🎨

    Very cool. I love how you made it seem like you placed the colors on the wood in a random way, however seeing the finished print (palm trees) I can tell that you really thought about the color placement to suit the palm tree image perfectly. Thanks! Nice video style as well. 👍🏻👍🏻

      Thank you for this comment! 🥰 You are right, even if I don't consciously think about it, I am probably aware of the colors placement.

    Hi Nitsa, I found your videos this morning and absolutely love the ones I have seen. I'm recently retired and always looking for interesting, innovative ideas. I would love to try to do some photo transfers on some of my guitars 🎸

    Such a cool video, thank you! I am interested in transferring an image onto glass and incorporating it into a stained glass piece. Only problem is that the stained glass process uses chemicals like flux and I need to wash the piece once it is finished with dawn dish soap. Is there anything I can do to seal the transferred image to protect it from washing/chemicals?

    Wait. So those gel plates are sensitive enough to detect the bumps from the tonered imaged?

    Thanks awesome appreciate you are doing well. So can you please make a video on drawings patent to transfer on silver or copper , If it’s possible? Thanks

      I think for transferring on metal it will be easier to use one of the gel medium image transfers rather than gel printing. Thank you 🤗

    Can you do this without a gelli plate? What surfaces are best?

      I tried different surfaces in the past. None of them worked as well as a gel plate. But I'm still experimenting.

    Hi Nitsa. Greetings from Karmiel! I am having some monoprinting issues with the photo transfer. I used laser printed photos from the copy shop, with Amsterdam paint.Nothing worked. I tried leaving the photo on the gel plate for 3 minutes and that didn’t work. I switched to another tube of Amsterdam paint and that didn’t work. i used Strathmore printer paper as well. am feeling disappointed as I really would like the technique to work. Any suggestions? Perhaps change the paper to basic copy paper? Your thoughts would be appreciated. Be well. Avram

    • @avramrubin1
      @avramrubin1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ginaburgess9759 it’s frustrating isn’t it! No matter what I do with the plate, paint, paper, etc., nothing works. Very disappointing.

    • @NitsaCreativeStudio
      @NitsaCreativeStudio  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Avram, this is not a difficult process, but it takes some time to master. I suggest that you change things around in your process until you get the right combination of the variables: type of paint, the amount you apply, contrast in your photo, pressure you apply etc. good luck 👍

      @@avramrubin1 I have struggled to. One thing that helped, is to turn up the toner and contrast as hi as you can. Run the image repeatedly through the printer (at least 3 times) the only downside, is that it may become blurry. I am going to buy some "glossy" paper a higher quality "Busines/Brochure" paper and ss if that helps. Maybe start with Magazine images to get the hang of it. I have no magazines but that paper works very well.

      Hi Jaimie, you have a keen eye 👍 well, I have 2 printers, I use both and both produce prints that work great with all my processes. The Brother I have is quite old, I can't find it online, so I listed the HP one. Thank you for watching 🥰

      @@NitsaCreativeStudio Thanks for this wonderful video and for replying to Jaimie, but I have the same question as Jamie - do you have to use a laser printer? I only have an inkjet printer. Would this work too? If not, why not? Thank you!

      I seal most of my artworks unless they are going to stay in the drawer. You can seal these with any acrylic sealer.

    I really enjoy your enthusiasm! I have been an artist for many decades, and coming across your transfer methods reminded me of something I was doing in the arly 2000's with fabric, canvas and other materials. I used my ink jet printer or a photo copy machine with toner ink. Photo copies were only black and white then. But I loved the contrast and could always add color later. When you made your last transfer with the glass in the video, I was thinking, what kind of paper did you use to remove the acrylic purple? I wondered if you used a less absorbent paper if you might have printed a darker tree on to the glass. All came out lovely, and you've inspired me to get back to some ideas I've had. I used standard printer paper but I think in order to get a darker image I could probably use a darker color instead of purple. Thank you Kathryn 🥰
