    • @NitsaCreativeStudio
      @NitsaCreativeStudio  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    if you print onto tissue, you can then use a hairdryer to carefully stick/melt the tissue into the surface a candle and produce a really nice image on the candle. the tissue paper disappears as it blends into the wax and all you can see is the image...it's quick and easy... have you done that I wonder?

      The best thing to do, if you can, is to use these photocopiers yourself and make a copy of your photo. These photocopiers usually work. If you cannot then ask them to print you a toner based laser print on a standard copy or printer paper.

    Does a home made gel plate from natural ingredients eventually go rancid?

    • @NitsaCreativeStudio
      @NitsaCreativeStudio  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have mine for a little over a year now and so far they are fine, but yeah, maybe eventually they'll go bad, I'm just not sure when. Some people add alcohol to their recipe in order to linger the life of the gel plate.

      @@NitsaCreativeStudio Good idea with the alcohol though I would guess it would dissipate being a volatile liquid. But it also might kill enough bacteria before the gel sets to make it last longer. Interesting. Thank you for your reply

    I found this didn't work on the copies I tried. Just didn't transfer at all. It was a Konica Minolta copier at my local office supply store. Anyone have experience of other prints that work?

    • @NitsaCreativeStudio
      @NitsaCreativeStudio  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Pauline, if it doesn't work for you, it usually doesn't have anything to do with the printer or copier as most of them work just fine 👍

      @@NitsaCreativeStudio That's interesting! I'll have to do some more research. I've been printing magazine photos just fine, but these particular prints don't seem to do anything!

    Ive just watched your video again, this has to be the third or fourth time now, lol, i mean to ask you if the gelli plate you made lasts indefinitely or not? I tried making one a long time back now and i never got to use it as it was covered in mould, i was heartbroken! Your video still gets a massive thumbs up from me! 🥰 XTIBBYX

      My homemade plates, so far, have lasted for about a year. I know some people add alcohol to their recipe in order to prevent the mold. Thank you for your support 🥰
