Mines 10% over final drive ratio ( front and rear pulleys )! Big air cleaner pipes and fuel management . Fast and smooth ! Oh yeah ! I put a 200 rear tire . Day and night difference in handling !

I just picked me up one of these... a 2017 Custom. Such a great bike.
The Memphis shades batwing fairing is sold separately from the windscreen, so that can be easily changed. Different heights and shades available too. I have an 09 custom with the same fairing.

Not a heavy bike? I have the Vulcan 900 classic LT and it weighs 657 lbs and it don't have as much baggage as that one.

I have 900 Vulcan custom 07 I had the same problem like it needed a 6th gear I changed the exhaust aftermarket air cleaner fuel processor and dyno all that went away it doesn’t run like it needs it the bike is awake now it’s has power now it’s fast I can keep up with a 1300 all day
I kept wondering why the switch housings on the bars had green painters tape on them. Took me a while to see it was the reflection of your jacket lol.
Great video. I'm looking at bikes having a hard time deciding. On what to get.look at some 950 up to 1300. cruiser.look at Suzuki. Valccan and vtx. This will be my 1st bike..

How does this compare to Vulcan S 650?
It has a fair bit more power and torque, so you can more easily carry weight - a passenger and luggage at highway speeds without issue. It's also a bit quicker off the line and top speed.
I have the exact same bike and I really like it but it started making a whistle sound whenever I roll in the throttle. It’s sounds as if it’s coming from under the gas tank. Does anyone know what it might be? I’d appreciate any help.

If you run that bike out of fuel
It will destroy the fuel pump
It means it is fuel injection
That would put it at more cost the necessary
Looked at one. Seemed like a rather large machine for the cc of it. They are pretty bikes for sure. My heart is with honda. Hopefully a used clean vtx1300 will replace my vt1100c next summer!

You have to change the the front and rear pulleys put a 200 rear tire pipes air cleaner and fuel management before you start on windshield or other stuff on it .then she flys .the stock handlebars suck too.

I'm 5'10" 185 and I get bounced and blown nearly off the bike on the freeway. Not sure what can be done besides put a windshield on it but I have a hard time keeping up with traffic on the freeway. Any suggestions? This is my first bike since HS and I'm 51.
U shouldn't be getting bounced or blown off on anything, I ride "naked" no screen etc and am comfy, but riding naked u catch all the wind etc. Far as keeping up im like 230 lbs and run 70 75 cruising
Yeah it just feels like I’m going to fly off. I was in it a couple weeks ago and came out of a right turn out of a parking lot a little wide. I over corrected and dumped it in the middle of the street and broke my foot. This one may be a little heavy for me. I’m still a very novice rider.

Mine will pull your arms ! The 900vn classic is low geared ! I was very disappointed with it unril I put front and rear pulleys put a 200 tire larger pipes and bigger air cleaner and fuel management ! She's a lot more powerful and way less rpm at hwy speeds !
If you want to get into the wind without throwing down $20,000.00 $30,000 this is the bike for you !
Even a lot of harley riders think my bike is a Harley even up close ! They are usually very surprised when the finally figure it out ! !
The 900vn is 600 lbs the Harley is 900 lbs the weight to power ratio evens out the difference ( upgraded 900 vs stock harley )but not the price the Kawasaki 900vn classic used should be much less than $8,000.00 !
I not only build bikes but bob out existing brands... i also own 14 different bikes 2 of which are vulcan 900s..and yes they are faster than a shitty 883..I WOULD HOPE SO..ITS BIGGER WITH 90HP..ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU DROP OVER 150 LBS OFF THE CLASSIC AND A BOBBER BUILD BUT THEY ARE STILL SHIT.. THEY ARE PIECES OF SHIT..I personally have mine in perfect running condition and lowered 5 inches in rear, hardtailed,,SMALL BATES SOLO SEAT,CUSTOM PIE CUT BOOT BURNER EXHAUST I MADE along with a full bobber strip down which quickly DUMPED JUST OVER 150 POUNDS DOWN TO JUST AT 440LBS!!!!! AND IT STILL HAS LEAKS,DRIPS and it isnt a tough machine unlike the honda 750,SUZUKI,MY indian scout bobber,,...i have a number of kawasaki built bikes,Which include a 1994 zx1100,2010 zx1400 ..Im not going to name off EVERY BIKE BUTI WILL SAY THAT IT IS BY FAR THE MOST PROBLEMATIC BUNCH OF BIKES THAT COME IN ...EVEN MY 66BSA,62 NORTON &65 TRIUMPH FEEL MORE RELIABLE!! That shouldnt be the case but it is.i was SUPER EXCITED when i got my pair of Vulcan 900s but quickly fell out with them..I WAS SUPER LET DOWN BECAUSE THEY LOOK FANTASTIC AS BOBBERS!!! IWOULDNT WANT ONE STOCK OR AS A BAGGER..I LOVE SIMPLE BIKES AND ALL MY CRUISERS ARE NOW BOBBERS..I ALSO WILL NOT BUILD A BIKE THAT IS SHIT OOPS SHAFT DRIVE EITHER..NOTHING RUINS A BIKE LIKE SEEING FCKN SHAFT ON IT.ANYWAY..THATS MY OPINION THAT IS HONEST FROM A RIDER,BUILDER AND OWNER OF MULTIPLE 900VULCANS AND 12 OTHER BIKES..I COULDNT BE MORE UNBIASED..
