Do you think you're art is moving towards abstraction and away from realism? Just a thought.
In my unprofessional opinion!! I think your better off using brushes. Your paintings had more definitions, and not too much mixing between the colors.
Not a fan of finger painting…teach color mixing but with a brush!!!😅😅
Color mixing is color mixing. I teach it in my online course 😁😁 (with a brush too)

The finger painting is very limiting. You'll change back to using brushes and palette knife when you realise this is just a gimmick that is restricting your ability. I thought you'd have improved more by now but you seem stuck in a kind of comfort zone. Good luck breaking through to the other side.
