I’m glad to talk with you in Dr.Headphone Festival in Seoul today.😊 Fortunately, I got Super-Mix 4 as a gift in the event. This is why I reached out this video out of many reviews. Thank you for visiting Korea, and the review.
Thanks for warning about the power delivery requirements. I'm not a dongle guy and I prefer to stick with the 3.5mm whenever possible since I switch between PC, Laptop, phone and cheap DAP.
I would say similar to the EM6L. Because it’s so smooth it sometimes lacks a bit of attack to make details jump out. It’s there but you got to look for it.
SM4 is an direct upgrade to EM6L or EA500LM? Or it would be a side set that complement these 2? I already got those 2, is it worth it to own the SM4 too? Is their tuning very similar?
Man, your b-roll footage are so beautiful!! Great work!! But, if I may give a small suggestion, the front camera position is too high. It's better if it's lowered slightly because there's no additional information above the head.
I heard these described as smooth, the last smooth iem i had was kiwi ears cadenza but the vocals felt a little too veiled for me. Would you say this simgot has veiled vocals.
For me, I wonder if they have change nozzles. Because up to loud volumes that I listen to. Everything becomes to Bright for me. So I love to retune the nozzle filters into my taste
@@SuperChonk dude. I’m on a Queen of Audio adventure at the moment. Then some “older” stuff. Then some newer stuff and I’m planning on ordering the Celest Relentless and Supermix 4. By the time July 4th comes around, I may be dead. 💀 lol
I still think that they are great if you are into listening to smooth vocals. I really enjoy them for that. But I think they lack a bit of bite of genres like jazz and orchestra. Overall still pretty darn good.
Sonically, the Alba has a bit more bite but I think the Supermix 4 has better resolution. Build Quality Supermix 4 is better and I will explain why in my Alba review.
It’s a no brainer. The only ‘negative’ is despite low impedance, the low sensitivity makes it harder to drive than I thought. I have to set my MUB1 to super high gain to make it sound decent.
@@colddish how does the aune ar5000 sounds? I already own hd600 and he400se. Do you think it's an upgrade? Or a side grade? From what I saw some reviews said it's sound is between the sundara and hd600. While some say it's hd600 with better bass and soundstage. Don't have too many reviews for this headphone.
@@calvinyip364 can’t agree with those assessments. It’s warm but not Sennheiser kind of warm. It’s sounds way different from 400se. I’d say it’s quite musical without bloated bass and treble is slightly darker than other headphones I have heard. Overall it’s very enjoyable headphone and it’s super light too!

@@Yong-JuneChang thank you! Great to see you as well! Congratulations! The supermix4 is an enjoyable one!
Oh it’s coming? Been waiting for this one!
SuperChonk has done it again nice short take on this set Teddy!
Thanks man!
Great short review. With a price of $150 bux, this is a no brainer..!
Which one has better midrange, EA500LM or Supermix4?
Bravo Ted, yet another world first ever review! Looks like this is going to be on my wishlist.
Someone needs to do the same but with a Sonion EST instead of the PZT.
Yeah! Hopefully we see one in the future!
The reason there aren't many iems with ests is that they are very expensive drivers. At around the price these cost you definitely won't find them.
Thanks for warning about the power delivery requirements. I'm not a dongle guy and I prefer to stick with the 3.5mm whenever possible since I switch between PC, Laptop, phone and cheap DAP.
Great review! Look forward to seeing the price and release date :)
How is the resolution and detail retrieval compared to the other simgot offerings like Ea500LM, EA1000, EM6L ?
I would say similar to the EM6L. Because it’s so smooth it sometimes lacks a bit of attack to make details jump out. It’s there but you got to look for it.
Thanks for the review. Is it as detailed as EA1000?
EM6L or Supermix 4??
I have the EM6L, and tempted to try these.

Any time!!!!
damn I can't believe you are here, my fellow non-vegan enjoyer and meat lover
I love steak.
@@SuperChonk me too! nice review as well. will look forward for more testings :)
A good review. Will be interested in the price in USA
I hope they reveal it soon!
I heard these described as smooth, the last smooth iem i had was kiwi ears cadenza but the vocals felt a little too veiled for me. Would you say this simgot has veiled vocals.
Very nice review! Do you think that, if it's price is 150$, will it be a nice upgrade from ea500lm?
It will be quite a different signature. Very smooth sounding, not as much attack as the ea500lm.
Your B role game is up there 🔥
How much of an upgrade would this be from the truthear hexa? Can the sm4 really compare to iems in the $200s range like the kiwi ears orchestra lite?
It’s an upgrade to the hexa. I found the hexa to be smooth and polite but lacking in some dynamics. The sm4 has more dynamics and still smooth.
Very Good Review !!! 👏👏👏😃
Would u recommend this over the nova or the pula pa02 ?
Does supermix give you a 3d soundstage like HBB Olina Se does?
For me, I wonder if they have change nozzles. Because up to loud volumes that I listen to. Everything becomes to Bright for me. So I love to retune the nozzle filters into my taste
waiting for their EM10 aswell =))
Any idea what impredence dac is required?,i was just thinking about using 7Hz timeless one with it?
When he used $300+ sets to be compared during the unknown pricing, it's something for sure.
Tbh. I really don’t know haha.
Its only $140 preorder on linsoul
i was going for the novas, whats your thoughts on that
Is it worth upgrading from Truthear Zero Red?
Kiwi Ears Quintet or this?
Thank you!
EDIT: I'm interested in soundstage width and depth mostly.
Quintet works better for soundstage.
what's the sound track at the beginning of the video. it's so relaxing
compared to em6l?
Will this be a good upgrade from em6l??
Too many iems being released right now... God help me. Have you gotten any word on the release date? Great review and comp once again!
Looks like in June so I have heard.
@@SuperChonk Thanks! plenty of iems to keep me occupied until then. LOL
@@BassDad8 haha what’s on your plate?

How can it be called a blind buy without considering price, which is currently unknown?
😂
It is $150.
Compare to quintet? Or another quadbrid?
I'm waiting for the EW300
how it is sounded compared to soundrhyme sr5?
Can you recommend some portable DAC under 100$ for this IEM.
Try the Onyx Alpha.
Can I ask how it would compare against the Quintet?
Quite different. The Quintet aims for resolution. The Supermix4 on the other hand delivery very smooth tonality with very decent resolution.
I see. Would you say it is almost similar to something like the Chopin?
Chopin vs super mix ?
So it is better sounding than dusk?
Most things are, if you don't use the dsp
Yes
how would you rate these now that the official pricing is out at 139$?

@@SuperChonkFor jazz with vocals do you have any recommendations?
heard its going to cost $150 usd
Is this better than the Meze Alba?

@@calvinyip364 it sounds a bit like Meze, so for me it sounds more like $600.
What about male vocals? Do they sound thin like usual Harman iems?
Do you have a better FR image of Supermix4?
you have speaked better English than Singlish , Singlish is really uncomfortable to listen to sometimes , this is just me Thank You .
would you recommend this over simgot ea1000
