Husband been driving his loaded 2023 pro4X for two years and zero issues! Loves the comfort, power of engine, smooth shifting 9 speed transmission and all the creature comforts. Does fabulous on the sand as well! Toyota blew it with those 4 cylinder turbo engines in the new Tacoma’s. We drove one when they came out and it was shocking how poorly it drove!
I own a Toyota Tundra now. I had a Hard Body 95 model. It was the extended cab. It had the 3.0 V6 When I sold it, it had 259,000 miles on it. That was eight years ago it was a 1995 model. Last I heard it’s still going. Awesome truck
Excellent thorough review, so thank you! I just purchased the 2025 Frontier SV 4X2 with all the Convenience & Technology & Tow packages. I won't be using it off road and wanted better highway mileage. I shopped around and managed to escape for exactly 75% of the cost of the Pro 4X. I love the 6 cylinder engine vs all the 4 turbos they're tossing into mid sized trucks these days. I encourage folks to shop around and negotiate on price - they wanted $42K... Anyway - great review...
If they were going to enlarge the screen, should have utilized it for the maps and cameras and got a better quality camera. Love my 2024 Pro 4X, and glad I didn't wait for this refresh with minimal improvements, not very impressed, seems like they were trying to keep up with the competition on the big infotainment screens. Really like the simplicity and reliability of the V6 and old school driving dynamics of the Frontier. Just about every review you see on any midsized truck, people complain about the back seat not being big enough, thats why they call it "Midsized", you want more room, get a full sized. I haven't had any complaints from anybody that rides in the back seat that it feels cramped or lacked leg room, only minor complaint was that seats felt a little too upright. Other than that, can't beat the ride quality. Love it👍
@Chabby’s Rides: Excellent review sir. The 2025 Frontier is one of the trucks I will be looking at. I like the N/A V6 and the ability to get a long bed in crew cab form as well as hydraulic power steering. The refresh is nice, especially the new screen. I wish the payload was higher and the camera you showed was awful to be honest. A little cheap on the plastics inside. Sliding rear window needs to be power. I am a Ford guy but do not like the new Ranger. I hate to admit it but the GM twins might be the best value now because Nissan jacked up the price. A Canyon AT4 or Colorado ZR2 can be had for less. And the Pro 4X is no Ranger Raptor. I am torn and $50k for a midsize is killing me tbh!
Thanks! I agree. Nissan didn’t do themselves any good by this sharp price increase. I liked the GM offerings when I drove them. Liked the Canyon a little better than the Colorado.
Really nice truck. Nissan is doing lot of redesign and refinement. Worth the money to get superb V-6 over a turbo 4. May be a lower resale proposition. Nissan is on a Product March..hope it saves them! Very informative review!
Nice looking truck but it’s not top of the line mid size off road truck, not even close my ZR2 Bison is a much better option as is the Raptor but you are definitely paying more for them
A bigger screen but with a lot of useless space instead of using at least the full screen space for the map and cameras... Showing probably the same space as the older smaller screen.
Not a fan of gloss on any vehicle. Scuffs easy and the sun reflects too much. I am thinking of trading in my 22 Tacoma Pro in for a 2025 Nissan Frontier Pro 4X because I want a 6' bed.
But then again, all midsized backseats are not designed for long trip comfort of adult passengers. I think it was aimed more towards storage for people that overland or off road. If you need more room, just get a full size truck.

I have a 2023 PRO4X with every option, I love mine. I like the updates to the 2025 models.

Thanks and congratulations on the new truck! Thanks for tuning in and the feedback. Much appreciated 👍

Glad you’re enjoying the truck. Thanks for tuning in and the feedback 👍
Great looking truck and color. I'd go for the 6' bed if I bought one. Great review, thanks for sharing!
Thank you for tuning in. 👍

Thanks Louis!
I love it. I would get the long bed. But, the running board is good, but I would rather have an electric running board.
That would be cool. Thanks for tuning in 👍
Is thier metallic flakes in the paint or is it flat paint
I love it but boy how much trucks cost anymore is ridiculous.
Very true! Everything is expensive! Thanks for tuning in. 👍
Nice truck always like the frontiers but I think they are overpriced
Agreed! What truck isn’t? All very expensive.
you’re 100 percent right but for 50k you can get a Colorado or canyon with more amenities than what you get for the frontier
Better price and more for the money over a 2024 2025 Tacoma and the Ranger.
@@christopherarmata823You're not getting the reliability of a non turbo V6

Those are enthusiast trucks, not something a typical person is looking for.

Can you put a hard bed cover on this truck?
This is one of the best options but the prices are still too damn high
Nice truck, just not 50K nice
The backseat is bullshi*
