Prefer the V-6 over the raspy, straining turbo 4 models. Move downscale from SL and avoid leather and sunroof. I was impressed. Deals may be available. Not my "cup of tea", but I have a hunch this may well be the top midsized conventional pickup. Very good review!
Most bang for the buck & properly maintained will run 300k most turbos wont last half that & the 25's removed shortcomings ie: cameras, telescopic steering wheel added towing 12.9 " infotainment its really dialed in now
Damn $46K is mind blowing 🤯 The Frontiers have always been the budget truck compared to the Tacoma but now they've raised the prices significantly it's damn near close. The selling points are the NA V6 and simplicity. A couple years ago I was blessed to purchase a used 2019 4x4 Midnight and I love the truck, it's the last year for the 4.0L 5AT. I got the truck for $27K with 15K miles and one owner no accidents.
True…the GM midsize is ridiculously priced though and garbage in my opinion. I’m glad Nissan has stepped up because I couldn’t stomach a Colorado or Tacoma with a 4 cylinder.
I have a 2023 RAM 1500 Warlock and i got rearended with only 7000 miles on it, not totaled but 6 grand + in damage. It's finally in the body shop and enterprise gave me a frontier so i get a free 2 week test drive. I did notice the FIRM steering .
@@chabbysrides It's a rental and i just picked it up this morning so i will be able to tell more in a week, its it maneuverable, i did notice the heavy steering but turning radius seems less than my RAM
If I was a truck person, this is what I’d buy. No question. Nissan definitely has some deals. I’d get the blue! Great review, looks like the same route as the Pathfinder video. 😂
The screen is a 9 inch in my 23 Pro4X. I would imagine it’s the same in the SL. By the way that so-called storage pad right in front of the centre console box is your wireless charging pad. My 23 Pro4X also has lights for the sun visor vanity’s.
That’s insane, then why are they calling it the top trim? The Pro4X has wireless charging the bigger screen and all the off-road goodies… it’s a no-brainer for pretty close to the same price.
That’s weird because my 2023 Pro4x has wireless charging and is fully leather. It’s the pro4X luxury, above the regular pro4X it gives you leather, sunroof and the fender stereo. It has everything that SL has plus the off-road goodies. Top trim is the Pro4X
@@deancm9302 It's not weird. You're simply incorrect. The Hardbody Edition is the top trim, then the SL, then the Pro-4X. Of course you can add the Premium Package to the Pro-4X to get leather seats and wireless charging. But that doesn't make it the top trim.
Great Video, appreciate the info. Love the Value & Reliability of Nissan but worry about the heavy steering and wide turn radius. Yes I'm old but also for my wife who'd be driving it too. Also would not disregard the Fender Sound System. (Rear Seat Back folds flat in the Frontier unlike Canyon/Colorado) We did until we got our Harmon Kardon System in our '23 Subaru Ascent last year. Now looking at Trucks that only option a Fender, Harmon Kardon or Bose System. Like I said I'm old but can see reliving my Camaro Z28 days, T-tops off cursin' with some Van Halen ...in a sweet Blacked-out Frontier, Sunroof open...different Era same Vibe! *Note: Frontier has twice the Horsepower & Torque of my Z!
@@michaelsachs-gp8qh Test drove an SL and it was at Parking Lot Speeds, a lot harder to maneuver than the Colorado, Canyon, Tacoma or F150 I test drove. Like I said, not a big problem for me but maybe for my wife who'd be crawling the Malls with it. Hard to beat the Value though, especially @ .9% 60 month NMAC Financing! That is huge! Almost bought a nice '24 Colorado Z71 last Weekend but Price being the same, 1.9% 36 month GMAC Financing was only $100 less than my Mortgage! Gotta put things in Perspective before you Commit!
SL is the top tier with an inferior stereo with no navigation and slightly smaller screen and doesn’t come in the premium paint colors Baja storm metallic or boulder grey pearl. I wish it had better cameras, rear HVAC Vents, and larger screen with better resolution, I like the low ride height and exterior styling. Pro 4X is the better value and I would assume higher resale. I do not like the orange accents all over the interior of the Pro 4X. I don’t trust the new Toyota platform and GMC Canyon is way too expensive. Not sure about the value of the SL vs the Pro 4X.
Most have of that has been addressed in 2025 model. Not everyone one needs the off-road junk that's in the pro model. I don't exactly need to replace expensive offroad struts and tires in a few years. BTW - in my neck of the woods the pro is about $5k more...and the pro doesn't have leather interior (it is extra).
I would buy one in minute if it weren't for the useless rear seating. Way too upright in the back and unable to use rear facing car seats. I'm going with the Honda Ridgeline for this reason. Too bad because I love the Nissan truck.
Oh god! The worst so called “review”. Regurgitated same thing what I have heard and seen hundreds of times in videos already in existence. Nothing new here and the subjective opinion is straight up annoying. Funny, everybody reviewing the new frontier is complaining about the cameras resolution or picture quality. Well, if someone intends to take DSLR photos of birds with it then buy a different car. The camera system on this car serves a purpose just fine. Or go get the new Tundra or Tacoma! You’ll have 1080p picture quality cameras in a car that doesn’t work

Thanks Louis. I always appreciate your support.
Just bought a Bluestone Pearl Pro4X. Loving it so far
Congratulations! Awesome color! Enjoy it! Thanks for tuning in.
as an owner of a 2024 King Cab …..very well done !
Thanks! Appreciate the feedback. 👍

Definitely an impressive pickup. And you can get the S Crew Cab and save money. Engine is awesome, transmission also and it's fun to drive!
Yes! Agreed. Thanks for tuning in.
The only thing I dont like about my 22 Frontier SV the rear sliding window is not power. Neither on SV, SL or PRO-4X. Afte all, I love my pickup
A power one would be nice. Glad you’re enjoying your truck. Thanks for tuning in.

Missing srep rails, bed step, tonneau cover and black lettering. All came w/ my 24 p4X!

Thanks! It’s a great truck, but not perfect. I like the steering feel, but I understand your concern. You have a classic Z then?
No the heavy stirling is awesome I love it
I truly think everyone over talks the steering on the frontier. I have a 2011 SV steering is fine in my eyes and now looking to buy a loaded 2024 SL 😊

Is it possible for kids to be comfortable in booster seats in the back?
And 3 months later they still have it on the lot, now for $ 41786, needs to be lower obviously.
Did u buy one I got the 25

Are you really Selling my vehicle for 46k? The reason i'm asking is because in Houston, Tx, the SL is selling for 38 to 39k.
How tall are you so I know how roomy the back seat is.
5’11”
Thank you
4 cylinder pickups are dead to the world to me....I will certainly consider the frontier!
The frontier slides
😅
