Pretty much the whole movie in one song. So genuine, warm and sad, all at the same time. Only actors of this calibre can make this look so effortless, like they haven't rehearsed it even once, and make it look that real at the same time.
This movie has been one of my favourites since 1992 when it came out. Mainly because of this scene and this song. She has a beautiful voice! When I learned back in 2006 that Imelda Staunton was going to portray Umbridge in Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix, I immediately thought of this scene. And look at that: so many HP connections! Two DADA professors, Lockhart (Kenneth Branagh who also directed Peter's Friends) and Umbridge, singing together with professor Trelawny (Emma Thomson) and the one and only Stephen Fry, (quite young and a heartthrob as it seems in this movie) who has recorded the HP audiobooks in the UK. My little HP heart is dancing!
