The portals seem to connect one region to another, just like in ORAS, where you could find other region's legendaries in the portals.

from break through, the cards you can get a regigigas full foil, arceus, full foil, and white kyurem, full foil. if you put these cards in order like the way I subscribed it you will have a neat picture.

Also the CHikorita and Fennekin cards kind of look like they take place in the Parallel City card, which might explain the portals.

Now that Pokémon sun and moon is out I believe that number six, the Rattata card is actually in Alola, it makes sense at least, I mean just like Hawaii the invasive species like Rattata had to have come from somewhere, somehow, it seems like this portal is the reason Alola has the new Rattata. Not sure but seems plausible...

I have a theory! About the portal cards! It looks like portal the rattata are running from leads to the dimension Giratina resides in! Like what happened in the movie Giratina and the sky warrior! (That's just my speculation though, so correct me if it's flawed, haha)

It’s so odd how I recognize some of these cards from when I collected them over a decade ago. Like all the secret rares that are based on old cards. I’ve got so many Charmander line, Bulbasaur line, Squirtle line, and Pikachu cards.
Number 6 just _screams_ Hoopa! I think the way this would all come together would be a Hoopa Unbound card showing small portals showing the pokemon crossing.
I wish that would happen but hoopas portals are gold rimmed (like the mirage island ones) idk but I hope your right though :)

There's more to that Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres easter egg! Those cards were reprinted in English in the Supreme Victors set as ultra rares.

I actually was surprised when basic pikachu was mentioned because that was the first Pokémon card I got, but I had found it on the field of a park I was at for my sister's softball game, and I suddenly was thrust into the wonderful world of Pokémon.

That Snorlax card has a special place in my heart because of the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online. I remember that card being nerfed because of how OP it was. The Snorlax's Plump Body ability caused all attacks that caused less than 60 damage to be not affective. I was sad when they nerfed it because I remember wrecking scrubs with it.
Could the portals have to do with the Trainer card Parallel City? Just a thought

Parallel City is the first stadium card that drives that point. But look at the Breakthrough cards that repeat Pokemon. Like Doduo and Remoraid. The background shows the different setting for the two cites. Noctowl and Staraptor mirror each other with an overview of the cities also.

Huh, I have that exact same first Zapdos card but as a card in english made 10 years later, in 2009. It’s Supreme Victors Secret Rare Zapdos 150/147 for anyone wondering.
For number 7 it looks like a dried up ocean. So maybe the Solosis is is checking on what is supposed to be an ocean, only to find one dried up dying Shelldor. So the Solosis decides to help.
Also for the portal cards, I own the Rattata card and it always seems to me like they're running from something. Also what about Hoopa? Isn't that a pokemon that likes to make portals?
Yeah, but Hoopa's portals are contained in its rings, however, no gold is in any of the rings

In one of the arts for Bagon, you can see Mossdeep city in the background, as there is a rocketship in the background, and also the colour of the roof that Baton is sitting on matches (sorry I don't know which pack, I don't really look, I know that it's from the XY series though).

about number 8, you can see the SS Libra from pokemon XD in the background, meaning that shellder is most likely the Shadow Shellder you can catch later in the game
In #10, did anyone notice the promo connects with Heahea City's Surf Association? Boss gives you a Surfing pikachu and says he is going to keep his Flying pikachu, but that only happens when all 4 surf spots have you as 1st place.
The fenniken, chikorita, sigilyph, and Saratoga cards are a reference to all those stadium cards that do something from each player, like parallel city

The portals are related to the BreakPOINT. If you read the back of a booster of BreakPOINT, it mentions gaps between worlds, and shattering of dimensions.
The Shellder seems to be set in Orre! There is a boat in the desert, just like the S.S Libra! The cracking of the ground also seems to be similar.

If I am not mistaken, there is about 10 or so different cards that include portals. I am not 100% sure which ones they are exactly, but I remember seeing a lot of cards with portals in the break sets. There is also a good amount of card that focus on the Sun and the Moon.
Another point from number 1 i noticed you forgot to mention is that the card art for Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos was also recycled for use in the Supreme Victors card expansion.

No idea what's going on in #6 but on the Chikorita and Fannekin one, where they're runing, it seems like something's going on in the city because it's covered in roots. But they look happy so idk, they're probably gong to be more cards like these ones.
i think the portal cards are related to Hoopa, if you've seen the movie, Hoopa summons lots of pikachus out of a portal, and he might be doing it with those Rattatas!
There is another plusle-minun Easter egg in which they both seem to be cheering on a marathon or race of some sort (BTW it's from Legendary Treasures)
@CandyEvie number 4 they've done the same trick before in the original Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire which featured a Museum in Lilicove. Several Paintings are featured there and these are artworks from the Southern Island cards :) (if i remember correctly)
The Sigilyph may be entering the portal, and the portal above the Rattata has opened up, which Sigilyph will enter out of in a future card in the story.
Number seven also comes with a sticker in the Japanese file of the artwork. The green file also has a larger artwork of all 9.

I think that the sigilyph has something to do with the portal helping chikorita find a new friend which is fennekin and help the rattat clan find a new home.

Chickorita goes through the portal to meet his fennekin friend. However the two cause trouble causing the Sigilyph and the Ratata

The Pikachu that was shown at #10 actually got a reprint in XY Evolutions. I have the card, and it also has a foil now. It's in the Pikachu Power deck.
on number 3 it was cool how the snorlax card had the moves knock away and plop belly, which I think means that snorlax could either use it belly to catch the cespin or use knock away to hit I away from itself!
and on number six it shows a chickorita and a fenniken, the fenniken and chickorita running card is from fates colide witch means that their fates have colided!

I think the cards with the portal might be a reference to the Pokémon episode where Ash goes into a world where everyone is acting opposite of they're normal self, for example Clemot is all of a sudden running really fast, Bonnie sounds super smart, Cerina is being rude, and Ash isnt as brave and cries alot. Sorry that I don't remember the name of the episode.
It's been a while since I was into the cards, but I still remember a few easter eggs not on thhis list. One of them was a large image created by the cards on one of the POP sets (9th?). Another is some sort of story involving apples, a Meowth, a Munchlax, and a Snorlax. I believe these cards were in Rising Rivals.
The sigilyph may be controlling the oceanic storm so rattata could be running away from a tsunami
I have multiple of the forest guardians and fossil excavator cards and I didn't realize that these cards were in X/Y until this video
I just have to say that your Easter egg vids are awesome! I actually created a couple of vids on fake cards lol and I literally laughed at it lol
This might be a stretch but with the portals we can see they are all leading to cities. A lot of cities have polluted air. Could it be that the Sigilyph and Rattatas are trying to escape the polluted air, but Fennekin is still stuck? Then when Chikorita heads in the air around Fennekin is cleaned because Chikorita is a grass type? I don't just a thought.

So, I'm through my cards now, and I noticed that I have a Staravia that's flying over the Alter if the Sun/Moon. But Staravia is an island scan on a different island... There's also 2 cards of Froakie and Frogadier that seem to be connected, with them hopping in a shallow stream. I also have a Manaphy with an ultra wormhole in the background that is weird. And a Volbeat and a Illumise from 2015 that are 2 halves.

The environment where Chikorita and Fennekin are remind me of White Forest and Black City (from Gen 5)

in call of legends there is a snorlax, a pachirisu, a mr. mime and a zangoose cards that have what looks like portals in only you can't see through them

My theory to the Portal mystery:
Once, a lonely Sigilyph discovers a mysterious portal appearing right in its face. It walks through the the portal bringing it to another area. It glares into the air noticing that another portal appears, the Sigilyph suddenly realizes that it was itself that created the portals. Due to the obsession of the magic, the Sigilyph always makes portals everywhere taking it to new places. One day, the Sigilyph uses too much power and the power goes mad. Suddenly, portals start appearing near Pokemon. A Chikorita finds itself transported to a city where it makes friends with a Fennekin in need. A group of Rattata are threatened by
a portal sucking them up into bizarre regions. Someday someone will find more evidence

In number four Briney's companions have a seagull card that also goes with the picture
