This was an incredibly well put together video. A few questions though. 1. What cell service was this video done with? 2. What kind of bars were they receiving before the antenna change? 3. What router is being used? 4. What antenna is being used? I ask this because many setups I have found say they would not boost speeds to that extent. Other are in the $1000 price range. I live in rural Midwest. Highest speed available is DSL in my area, and it's spotty at best as they have admittedly over sold the service. So I went with a LTE hot spot and a Nighthawk MR1100. It too has terrible service. So I'm looking for something else that will allow us stream and whatnot.

We do not know why it doesn't work. Is the antenna bought from our company?| Is it installed correctly? Is it directed toward the nearest BTS? Is the BTS close enough? Are the cables and connections all OK? Is the router working correctly?
The whole idea of putting the antenna outside is the big thing. I just got a Poynting XPOL-6 ( 1710-2700MHz - very old now ) antenna because the signal at the house is terribly weak -105dB so I'm hoping that things will improve dramatically. Just as a test at the work-place I put it up in the second floor window which has direct line of sight to the tower. Using this same router (TP-Link mr600) without the exterior antenna gives download of around 25Mbps and upload of around 7Mbps. Using the antenna just loosely put into the window ( behind the glass ) and pointing at the tower - without optimizing the angle - I get around 70Mbps download and 30Mbps upload. Truly dramatic. But then again I'm not that far from the tower - maybe 250m - 300m.

The iPhone 7 is Cat9, but a Cat6 router should do fine. Since a sailboat moves, it would be better having something like a Mikrotik omnidirectional antenna.
Crap vodeo. Those antena are only for wifi. The mobile antenna is inside the board. To connect to your internet provider you need to boost the antenna that is iside the board, not your wifi antenna.
It is the other way around. The two outside antennas are detachable external 4G LTE Antennas. The WiFi antennas are on the inside. Please check the specification on the manufacturer website: www.tp-link.com/en/home-networking/5g-4g-router/archer-mr200/#specifications

I think 1.5x sounds the best
It must took a hell lot of time to put in all the video editing work. Good job. 10/10.

Very impressive increase in speed! And a very well edited video.😃🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Excellent illustrations
Thank you very much this was very helpful and that is the exact router i have also
this looks to be a directional antenna, so if i can't see the tower is it any use.. also on your site you state it is a MiMo can you clarify please.
Do you get any feedback, or have you tried it, and what's the outcome?

Great video, thank you! Do the Cable lengths matter for the speed and if so what quality should I look for in a cable?
Just to be clear the LTE at home hasn't changed when i use a cell phone? This only gets better mobile broadband over wifi right?
Correct. To improve LTE signal at home You would have to use an LTE repeater, which, at least in Poland (place of filming), is illegal to use.

@@AshokElectronicsVideoMAX We still have no clue, please tell us when in the video it is shown. Use time stamp, like 3:46
I'm pretty sure the red arrow is for up as there is normally a drain hole on this type of antenna
Is the 37cm important. Is the placement of them (the vertical up, horizontal down) important?
37 cm is the wavelength of the signal. Such distance is set to avoid interference. As for the placement (up or down) it's irrelevant.
Sir why one Antenna vertical and other horizontal ?
They are intended to receive radio waves in horizontal and vertical polarisation.

Of course, but so will a router without external antennas, plus that this looked like a directional antenna.
@ antenna gain of external antenna is much higher than router's antenna. I believe there should be standard gain for antenna.
