This is absolutely the correct way to mount. The distance between then depends upon which frequency you want to receive. More the distance between then the better it is. Mounting at +-45 degrees 90-0 degree also fine to achieve diversity or MIMO. Thanks.
I assume the original external antennas for the router was designed to transmit signals both for wifi and for 4G. Will the local wifi quality be poor when replacing both omni antennas with directional 4G antennas? Is it possible to just replace one of the 4G antennas, and how will the wifi and 4G quality be affected by this?

@@diyIndia I'm not too sure about yagi antennas, they have good gain but narrow bandwidth. If you get two for two different frequencies you'll only be able to use inter-band aggregation (i.e. different bands) and not intra-band (same band) because each one will be polarised in one direction and won't pick up the other polarisation on that same frequency. You might be able to use just one frequency for both antennas, but then you can't use inter-band aggregation. LPDAs are more flexible because they're wide band and should allow both, but at the expense of lower gain. Also you'll never get 25dBi gain from a yagi! A better approach might be to use a flat dual polarised directional antenna like a Poynting Xpol2 and mount it in place of the feed horn of a satellite dish, there are youtube videos of people doing this and getting some very good gain. It's difficult to know which approach is best, it'll depend on your tower and what the aggregation capabilities of your router are as to what setup gives the highest and most reliable speeds.
you would need a direct line of sight, if there are building then the signals will be reflected by the walls. if you get good signals then you try the patch Antenna or Omni directional Antenna mounted little higher.
I always wondered...so can you confirm that when only one cable is drawn from the antenna, the latter should be connected to the port near the SIM slot?
I am staying approximately 1-2 kms from the tower, in this case, should I use the antenna's that you are using or the Omni-directional antenna's? Please reply.
These antennas are cheap compared to omni- directional antenna. If the tower is in line of sight (That is, if you could point this antenna directly to it) you will get good results.

Hi, even though your router does not support CA I would suggest you to get two antennas this will help. 5meter would not be sufficient for the length which you mentioned. The antennas should be grounded because electricity tries to find the easiest path to ground. Otherwise, the current would flow through the router and destroy something with a high possibility. And yes, it still should work during heavy rain, it‘s only a issue with mmWave and WiFi 2.4 GHz.

Hello bro, with internal antenna usage i see a download speed of 30mbps and upload speed less then 1mbps. Do i need to purchase two lpda outdoor antenna or one antenna will do. I am working from home, cannot take chances. Please suggest.
There is almost close to 4k difference between the prices, now you would need to decide if you are in spending extra 4k on LTE advance which is CA, now this is going to help you get better speed if the network provider supports it. The CA works on MR600 and MR600 has more supported band, but most band supported in INDIA are also supported in MR6400. It boils down to two things. Do you need CA and cost. If you can afford it get mr600
Hey there. The external antenna is only for 4G lte signals and not for wifi. I connected the antenna which are placed in the terrace and the MR600 has a built in Antenna for wifi inside the device and the device is placed inside my room. hope this clarifies.

I am living in ground floor in a 3 floor building so if I keep the antennas in top floor , will I get wifi signal to ground floor or else I think my neighbours in 3rd floor will get better signal than me so what shall I do ?
What you could do is fix antenna on the terrace and run your cable to the ground floor and connect it with your router so that you can get wifi signal in ground floor. Antenna is used only for you 4g network.
Hey guys, I have installed one external antenna and one stock antenna to the MR600 router. But results were bad when to compared to original stock antenna. I purchased OXYWAVE external 4G lte antenna but it's not doing great for me. Any suggestions pls. Thankyou
I m not sure about radio technologies or whether single antenna might work for you, but what I could tell from searching the internet we need to have antenna setup as done in the video for better signal reception. Along with that the LPDA antenna must be in line of sight.
Make sure to plug external antenna connection to MAIN port and stock antenna in AUX port of router, but for optimum performance always use same type of antennas for correct MIMO configuration.
Hi. Will it work with TP-Link MR100 and 3g coverage?
3 ปีที่แล้ว +1
Yes, to my knowledge you wouldn‘t even need 2 antennas. But also check, if your ISP will shut down 3G because in many countries it will be replaced (or is already replaced) by 4G and 5G. Also, 4G low band may be faster.
Thanks brother for this video. Wishing that you will make a detailed video about how this antenna effect on the download and upload speeds of different operators like jio,Airtel etc and your final thoughts about how useful this antenna is.Thanks once again
Nice video, thanks. I'm not sure if your provider uses 4G+ (aka 4G LTE Advanced), you might want to replace your router with say a MR600 (you're obviously already using a TP-Link router). You should get at least 50% increase in download and upload speeds as it uses carrier aggregation.

are both antennas on mr600 4g or is one of them wifi ?
Did you change any settings in the router to read the extenna antenna please?
No I did not . I just installed it and no settings changed.
@@diyIndia Thx
Hello bro, with internal antenna usage i see a download speed of 30mbps and upload speed less then 1mbps. Do i need to purchase two lpda outdoor antenna or one antenna will do. I am working from home, cannot take chances. Please suggest.
HI Niranjan, I am also doing work from home, If you know any good process, Please tell.
Hello. Can it work if i just bought one antenna only?
Yes, you need to connect to the stock antenna on the other one.
MR6400 or MR600
I will use only ethernet cable so which one is best for me...
How did you connect 2 antenna to MR600? Isn't it has one gsm antenna and one wifi antenna. My understanding is that second gsm antenna is internal.
My understanding is that WIFI Antennas are internal and those external antennas are GSM ones.
I love your work!
Can u use local wifi internet cable in tp link mr 600, cat6, router instead of inserting sim ?
yes you can, you can use your local fiber connection and the 4g as the back up.
I bought antenna couple of days back my stock antenna is providing better speed compared to lpda antenna, any suggestions??
How many antenna have you connected and in which router are you using it. Did you fix them at 45 degree angle.
@@diyIndia I have one antenna,I fixed it at 45 degree..
One does not work. And 45 degrees does not matter when you have only one. Try mounting it horizontal and see if it helps.
Which cat cable did u using ?
Can you provide purchasing link 🔗
May i know did you connect both external antenna. then how did you broadcast wifi Signals Indore?
Both the antenna cable are connected to the MR 600 router and it will act like a normal WIFI hotspot.
If you connect both the antenna. And keep antenna above 30Feet. How does it broadcast inside house?
Hey there. The external antenna is only for 4G lte signals and not for wifi. I connected the antenna which are placed in the terrace and the MR600 has a built in Antenna for wifi inside the device and the device is placed inside my room. hope this clarifies.
@@diyIndia
that information is very hard to ascertain from the manual and all online details. I too thought the LTE antennas also did internal WiFi. Thanks for clarifying.
Hi bro this LMR 200 cable and television cable are same or different?
I m not an expert in electronics but those cables are totally different compared to LMR 200.
Bro I want to know tp link archer mr600 supports sim slot or not some one saying sim slot was not supported I want to know please give reply bro
Hey. It does support sim. I have tried with all three network operators. Vodafone, jio and Airtel.
can you show the firewall setting of this?
If you are looking anything specific , let me know there is lot of section in that firewall.
It will work for tplink mr200 ?
Hi,Mr 600 two antinas are mobile signel caching?
Yes both are for mobile antenna and the wifi antenna is inside the router
Hi Sir
Ive got only one antenna.
I'm not getting much Speed.
Should I need to go for another one?
MR600 has two antenna, i would suggest to get another Antenna, I had tested with one antenna but it did not give much results.
buy wher i want to buy it and how much
Contact details in the description
Hi. Will it work with TP-Link MR100 and 3g coverage?
Yes, to my knowledge you wouldn‘t even need 2 antennas. But also check, if your ISP will shut down 3G because in many countries it will be replaced (or is already replaced) by 4G and 5G. Also, 4G low band may be faster.
If there are trees between antenna and cell tower, how is the result ?
the results may vary, as these are directional antenna. if trees are there then the signa may drop.
one antenna should be horizontal, other vertical
does it work for tp link mr 6400??? please reply asap
I am not sure about it ,but do check whether the antenna are removable or not. Some of the commenters in this video had mentioned about using MR6400.
how much did you spent for 2 antennas and cables totally and free delivery is there or not ?
I would suggest to you contact the seller in the description. And there is delivery charge.
There NO seller in description 😢 please update the description
Is it legal to use it in India?
Can these antennas give good signal than yagi antenna
Please reply
no yagi has a better gain. close to 22db. So yagi will get you better signal for sure.
@@diyIndia Thak you sir
Sir tower is 3 km away can I get the network after installing this?
If you get network in your mobile- then yes- the quality of signal will increase.
Iam living in a area where the signal is weak does this help me to increase signal and internet speed
Yes it does help.
Thanks brother for this video. Wishing that you will make a detailed video about how this antenna effect on the download and upload speeds of different operators like jio,Airtel etc and your final thoughts about how useful this antenna is.Thanks once again
Sure. I will do it shortly. Stay tuned.
Yea my provider gives LTE adv between band 3 and 40 however it does not seem to work always in my location.
Is this for recharge?
