Well done. Some info that may be helpful: 1. With exception to the removal of the old gasket, the gasket prep/ritual is for the most part not needed. Place the (dry) gasket over the dowels. If you feel better about adding oil/grease to the gasket surface then do so. Preferably place the gasket on the case side not the cover side otherwise you will be making it more difficult for yourself. Make sure you tighten the bolts in a cross pattern and all will be ok. 2. And, this is important: Place the friction plates in the new oil for a few hours or a day before installing.
make sure that O ring is also greased for the feed pipe before you put the clutch cover back on as forcing an ungreased o ring into place can cause it to rip with friction and fail
good afternoon, I recently purchased yzf750 and I had one problem, I did not have a sealing rubber band between the air filter and the box, could you please tell me the characteristics of this rubber band so that I could pick up something similar because unfortunately there are no more of these rubber bands in stock
I thought I knew everything about the FZR/YZF series of Yamaha. I was oblivious to this trick with the clutch alignment marks!!! Thank you Dean! Do you have an email? I'd like to ask you something. Thanks in advance!

Cheers TriAngles3D, thanks for that info. I am sure other Yamaha and other bike owners will find that helpful.
