No, you have an axle to deal with and the tools to take it out, the rest is pretty much the same.

Not Sure where you got the Idea this is the same as the Tiguan, as the bearing isn't held on by the centre bolt on the tigs it has an extended from with 4 mounting bolts on the rear similar to the ones removed for the caliper bracket.

Are you sure about that torque spec?
For that particular vehicle, yes. But there are many different specs VW has for different years and models so look up your specific vehicle to make sure.
