Ingredients:
For Kadhi:
1/3 Cup Besan
3/4 Cup Curd(Dahi)
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder(Haldi)
4 Garlic Pods (Lasoon) - Chopped
Coriander/Dhaniya (Optional)
2-3 Dry Red Chillies(Lal Mirch)
1/3 tsp (mustard seeds)Sarso
1/3 (cumin seeds)Jeera
1/4 Hing(Asfoetida) (Optional)
Garam Masala Powder
Salt - (To taste)
For Pakoda:
3/4 Cup besan (gram flour)
1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 Chopped Onion (medium size)
1 green chilli
Corriander/Dhaniya (Optional)
1/4 tsp Red Chillies powder
1/3 tsp ajwain
1/3 turmeric powder
salt to taste
cooking oil for frying

I tried this recipe today for the first time and have to tell you that it was a GREAT SUCCESS! I adapted it slightly for my vegan friend, using vegan curd and she couldn't stop saying how delicious it was. This friend spent more than a year in your country and she said your kadhi pakoda was so unlike the 'Indian' food we get here in the UK in our restaurants and suggested that I start a small café selling food using your recipes! It's not the first of your recipes I've used and it certainly won't be the last.
Your videos are well planned and very clear to understand and thank you very much for the information in English (I'm afraid that I'm not a speaker of Hindi). I have always loved cooking, but I have learned so much from you and your cuisine. Thank you very, very much.

Tip: One must cook kadhi for at least 25 minutes on low flame after a boil in order to get that taste !
Otherwise it'll taste raw !

Hey a suggestion...try using buttermilk instead of curd. It tastes awesome. Also, try tempering with rye and kasoori methi in ghee.
