The most important part of Kadhi is the proportion of Curd & Besan, which he didn't mention. Besan should be 1/4 of the curd and one should add 4 times water. For 2 cup curd, add 1/2 cup besan and 8 cups of water.

This is a recipe which was uploaded 3 years ago.. but I tried it yesterday. I'm really thankful... It turned out great. Especially after trying out a dozen kadhi recipes. I did sweat a bit, but the result was worth it. Thank you, chef. I just added some dhaniya leaves in the end, eventually it was awesome.

Wow!!! Chef Bharat! I have been looking fr an authentic home style Punjabi pakoda Kadhi fr the longest time and been disappointed because most chefs make the kadhi part also with onions and tomatoes! But THIS recipe… amazed me with its simplicity and the authentic flavors! U are right when u say that dadiji ke haath ki kadhi hai yeh! Truly so!

Once I made an onion-less version (since we Bongs are those weird people who consider masoor ka dal, garlic and onion as 'amish' or non-veg!!!) with chopped spinach, green chillis and of course, the ginger paste.
