Thankyou this was so helpful! I kept trying to do a forced restart using the instructions on the Fitbit website and was only holding down for 10 seconds like they said. Did this and just held it until I saw the logo come up and it’s completely fixed the issue I was having. Super clear and simple instructions, thankyou

Are you able to shut it down by holding the button any number of seconds? Or only through the touch screen?

Hold down the solid state button on left side for 10 seconds till logo flashes up

I have one of these watches and I have had issues with my charger that came with the watch sometimes charges and other times doesn't seem to charge, it's very touchy, do you know why?
And is it possible to safely take back off the watch and safely clean the contacts so it charges better?

When I press and hold, it goes to the ECG screen, and tells me to put my fingers on the corners for nearly a full minute before shutting off the screen. I couldn't pay this thing to force restart.
