    Best directions to reset I have found. Fast and EASY. I will say I’m frustrated with the Sense because it vomits every few months and the watch deletes clock faces etc. restart is the on,y way to fix it.

    Thankyou so much for this - I rely on my Fitbit to let me know if my HR is spiking which causes faints and seizures. I’m lost without my Fitbit and couldn’t even get the screen to respond, the whole device was just black - thankfully a reset set things good meaning I didn’t have to go through the weekend without it.

    After removing my Sense from my account since I bought a Sense 2. I tried the factory reset on my Sense planning to erase my date so I can give the Sense to my younger brother. Unfortunately after trying. Factory reset my screen is frozen with a message..”Data not removed- Sync and try again” but it’s frozen, doesn’t let me do anything. I do a hard reset and goes back to the same screen.. I tried to add it back to my account and doesn’t let me pair it…arghhhh

      Would have to unfreeze the watch to get to the menu. This help is useless

    You press that button like it's so easy.... it's not a button it's a hole and you hold your finger on it in the same position but it just keeps vibrating like it think s you are moving but you aren't. Mine never gets to the reset part... it's infuriating.

      Mine goes to the shortcut setting and never resets. The only reset I can do is from settings.

    You assume I can actually get the screen to do anything other than being stuck 77% restarted. Most of the time, I love this watch. The other times I think it's a right POS.

    If watch is stuck on logo. You don't have these options.

    My Fitbit sense is stuck on the logo screen. I have tried resetting it probably about 6 times now and it always comes back to the logo and stays there. I cant get into the settings to do a factory reset because its stuck on the logo. I don't know what else to do. Any advice??

    When my battery goes completely dead I have a hard time getting mine to charge . I have to repeatedly hold the button down before i see any sign of life

    Just an FYI to anyone that has one that is stuck on the logo screen. I got on a few chat sessions with Fitbit support and nothing that they told me to try worked to fix it. Still stuck on logo screen. Thankfully mine is still under the 1 year warranty so they are going to send me a replacement for free. If yours is not under warranty, I'm sorry. My problems started when I got an error message on the screen about the clock face.

    I have tried all your ways and some others, my screen after the clock goes to "unloch with your phone" but the phone is NOT connected, and I have tried several times to reconnect and a NO GO. It comes up to put in a pin on the phone and the app on the phone, and NO GO for that as well. I have a HAMMER in Hand that Might fix it.

    Lol thanks, I just wanted to make sure holding down the button wouldn’t factory reset it. My pin wasn’t working in the device so I couldn’t enter it in and I couldn’t do anything on the screen until the pin was entered.

      Holding down what button? I have a Fitbit sense to in. There is no buttons on the side of it.

    Is there a way to do a factory reset when the watch won't boot up? (It's stuck in a boot loop)
    I was hoping letting it try over and over again to boot would eventually run the battery down enough that it would forget whatever data is crashing it but it never seems to go dead enough that it forgets everything.
    Holding the button in to reboot does nothing since it's already attempting a reboot. The phone app does not detect the watch so I can do nothing with the app.
    It "was" working fine and I loved it. I "think" the problem started when I noticed the "Exercise" app wasn't starting and I did a reboot? First reboot it booted right back up like it should. But when I tried a second reboot it got stuck in a reboot loop and tried a day or so to reboot until the battery ran "mostly" down. Charging it back up didn't help.
    I'm still in Amazon's return window but I've used it. I assume I can still return it since it shouldn't have died so quickly?

      A lot of people are having the same problem wit the Sense model. We shouldn't have to replace it with our own money. Evidently it is something that happened on the company's end. We are not responsible for that! How unfair! You can't depend on or trust them!

    My Fitbit Sense is stuck on the logo screen. Holding the side button does nothing, even holding it up to a minute. No flashing, no vibrating---just the logo stays solid. I've tried it while charging and I've tried it disconnected. All help appreciated. It's very frustrating.

    I was given a used fitbit Sense and am trying to do a factory reset but nothing seems to work. I installed the fitbit app on my iphone and can get it to connect successfully but it will not give me the four digit code required to sync them. How can I get the four digit code?     My Fitbit sense has started scrolling information on face of the watch. It looks like sets of information in different languages. No matter what I cannot get into any other part of the watch. I have tried the 10 hold on button, and it keeps on scrolling. Do you know how to stop this problem?

    I was wondering does anyone else have problems when trying to charge the Fitbit sense?? Well everytime I go to charge my Fitbit it takes like 30 minutes to get my watch to read the charger. I clean the back of my watch daily
    I've done everything and nothing seems to be working.
    I even bought a new Fitbit charger after having problems but it still took me over 30 minutes to get my watch to charge even with the new charger. I was just wondering does anyone have any solutions for me thanks

    Truly the worst piece of tech sh-t I've ever owned. The home button is under the bezel. You need to do a yoga move to get to it. None of the menus are intuitive. oh, sorry. Thanks to you, I've factory reset it and am sending it back. Had to call Fibit customer service to learn how to change C to F. Go to the Gallery. REALLY>>>>> Please. See ya.
