I appreciate the attention to detail and how you apply commercial/industrial grade materials and finishing even on smaller boats.

We do! It's especially important to keep the smaller models as sea worthy and safe for the operator/passengers if the weather picks up. If we're putting our name on it, it's got to be built to last, too! Thanks for the great comment. Happy boating!

Been looking at buying a welded aluminum boat for a couple years now and just recently found out about Silver Streak. Bounced between Kingfisher, Hewescraft, Crestliner and the sort but could never pull the trigger as they all seemed overpriced and use wood for decks. This has got to be the best promo video for a boat company I have ever seen, the "duck" Trudeau flag on that olive drab boat proves it, also seeing the owner of the company demonstrate design, fabrication, and welding functionality is really outstanding.
    I'm sold on a 18' Carmanah now!!

Life time quality boats. If I was a younger guy, this is the boat I would buy.
I bought a heavy aluminum sea-nymph deep V 35 years ago, and the hull is still like new. 1000’s of hours and great boat.
I would have bought one of these if they were available back then.

Thanks Peter! We've been around since 1987 and from time-to-time get to see our earlier models coming back for service work. It's always great to see how well our Aluminum boats hold up to time and how well some owners take care of their boats. Likely much like you with your Sea Nymph. Thanks for commenting and happy fishing!

Awesome video. I’m glad you guys pumped out this video. It would be nice to see a video on most models individually, I know that’s a lot but more people need to see how great these boats are. Good seeing the boss man doing the videos too!

It would be nice to have a walk-around for each model...maybe in the future! Thanks for your comment and feedback! We appreciate it!

love your boats and built quality is incredible.
You are one of the few companies that makes a cabin cruisers under 20'. your 18' gambler looks great, just wish it was cuddy cabin option..
would love to see a little 16-18' boat that a single person or couple could take out on vacation trips on the rivers, st lawerance, great lakes Mississippi. Where you have the 14' height restriction for bridges so these big 25'ers with command bridges can't go... Gambler with a sleeping cuddy, small toilet with blackwater tank (canada changed their laws so porta potties are illegal on boats now there). small water tank...maybe an underfloor slot for a freezer... cabin to deal with the bugs heat and maybe ac...
something you could take and visit the towns along the st lawyerance river for days, without being killed by 3 dollar / foot docking fee s lol.

Hey! Now there is a trip to do. Good to know about the height restrictions and dock fees. Our 18'6" Gambier cabin can be made to have the bench seats convert to a bunk which is pretty handy for overnighters, although, without a cuddy it is trickier to fit a toilet and tanks. The smallest boat we build with a cuddy is our 21' Phantom - SE. This boat remains to have aft-leaning windshield, so no high command bridge but it does have a complete, enclosed cuddy area with hatch and door. Thanks for your great comment and compliments towards our craftsmanship! Happy boating!

@@silverstreakboats4129 There's something called. "The Great Loop" which is a non stop circle that runs you from the Mississippi, great lakes, Atlantic ocean coast, florida, back to the mississippi with several canals and smaller runs that let you do shorter loops by accessing the atlantic to the Mississippi without going around florida.
C-dory use to make a "micro cruiser" Cdory-16, with short cabin seat, table, cuddy, toilet. putting an enclosed bimini on the c-dory 16'cruiser, and you had one of the smallest "boats" you could do long range cruises on.
That said, the SE looks Amazing, bimini the back of that, add in freezers and hide a fridge somewhere. throw a solar or 2 on the roof, and take that on the loop.

I like the quality of your detail that you and your crew of craftsmanship employees put your heart and souls into building some awesome boats. I can see the future for you in selling your boats to the yacht industry to supply them with strong light aluminum boats for transporting like a side by side along with bicycles, scooters, and for fishing while they are at anchor. I myself love your landing boats with the ramp at the bow because I could actually get my wheelchair into your boats so I could go fishing again. I hope you will get your boats on million dollar yachts because they want quality and dependable strong boats and love to get your company to supply them with your needs. Send your sales people to all their dealers and I wish you good luck buddy. Once you get a foot in the door with one or more of the explorer type yacht manufacturers you might need to have more people building double amount of boats with you because I can tell by your passion and others will also see. But on this video, that background music about drive me crazy.

Thanks for your feedback, we are glad to hear we were able to create an accessible boat for you! We haven't tapped into the super yacht world but then again, we like building for the customers we do have. Good people! We will work on the background music volume, too...you're not the only one that commented on it 😅 Thanks again and happy fishing!

Have you done hydraulic cylinders for landing craft bow doors?

    • @silverstreakboats4129
      @silverstreakboats4129  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

It can be done, however in our experience, it's better not to. We have found that the stroke of the cylinder does not have enough travel to enable the bow door to land on some beaches. This makes it less than ideal when trying to drive or carry equipment on or off the landing craft deck. Hope this helps! Thanks for your question

The video was informative and shows the quality of the boats. But that music was annoying and you couldn’t hear the speech.
