Wow congratulations🎉
Natural progression for the channel and well deserved.
Can’t wait for the new films
She deserves a name
True she does need a name, feel free to throw up suggestions everyone and we’ll come up with a suitable name for the new Stabi👍
@@rokkitkit has to be THE RoKKiT
@@rokkitkit "The Buis'niss" is a great name 😂😂🤌
The Blue Bomber
Blue diamond kitt...
The fish barely had a chance before. Now they just might as well surrender. Goes to show, dreams do come true! Congratulations!
Awe timny rod be better than the inflatable
Such stoke - the fact you turned down proper sponsors who had the wrong boat for you and went with what you knew was the right boat despite a greater financial stake in the game is an example of what makes your channel great. You run an authentic/genuine experience mate and I'm glad for it.
Very true. Fom Long Island NY. Been with 14' aluminum boat with tiller for years. Stabicraft is amazing.
It... looks... soooo... good. The sharp angular design, the color, even the size. Just stunning.
Just to be clear it's Rod's boat you're talking about right? :O
Congratulations Rod!!!! I am so happy for you and you family it's a awesome boat. Stabicraft is proven boat builder!!!!
Fantastic Rod,
So pleased for you. Your excitement and joy is palpable- as it should be. There’s nothing better than buying one’s dream boat after all the dreaming, thinking and planning for what your perfect boat would be.
The Rokkitkit journey continues and we all watch it with so much pleasure.
This is why I like watching this channel: it provides those like me to vicariously live these experiences through someone who does - who can. I don’t have a dream boat in mind, but glad you do. I don’t possess the adventurous nature of exploring the ocean, and reap its bounty, but I respect it and those who do provide us with the knowledge. Congrats on the new boat, Rod! Can’t wait to ride with you on the new episodes.🙌🏽😄
Cheers mate, and thanks for watching the vids👍
Wow what a boat, Matt Terry be proud of you!! Well done mate
Haha, RIP Matt Terry😂
Small boat that can do big boat stuff. Pretty much says it all! Very happy for you Rod, looking forward to many future adventures with this beauty!
Congratulations on the new addition to the family! Hope she serves you well!
Fair winds and lots of hook-ups!! "Fish On"!!😂
I'm a huge fan of tillers for fishing boats, you can walk around the boat and haul in even large fish, and a lot fewer things to get caught up on a console, wheel, cables, and a lot less to go wrong too
Great choice mate, one of the best hulls to come out of NZ, you will be very happy with everything that boat will allow you to do.
Rod looks like you've stepped up your videos a notch. The pictures are clearer and at a higher quality. Your face says it all can't wait for all the adventures you and your family will be on. You are truly a blessed young man with a wonderful family. Stay safe out there and have a blessed day. Aloha from Kansas
Supper happy to see you with this sweet new boat.... I have really enjoyed 3 yrs watching you fish... you got me back into fishing as well as my girlfriends 7byr old daughter. We watch your episodes back together and she loves fishing now
Cheers mate, and thanks all of you for watching the vids🤙
Sincere congratulations, Rod! Normally I can't stand creators showing off all the stuff they buy, but I know you're not "that dude"! As much as you got your dream boat, we can expect even more amazing videos from you! Win-win for everyone!
Ecstatic for ya mate. She's a beauty!! And the fact that you were proud enough to want to pay your own way..... RESPECT!!! Looking forward to the new content. Congrats!!!
I'm so happy for you, Rod! Looks like you got that new boat excitement. Definitely well deserved for your hard work over the years.
Rod,
your integrity is admirable and not surprising to me at all... I've been listening to your words while watching and enjoying your channel.
I alread knew you were 100% real.
cheers!
Congratulations rod, if anyone deserves this it’s you mate. Stoked for you!!
We run our welded aluminum boats in boulder filled rivers fishing for steelhead and salmon in the PCNW. To say they can take a beating is an understatement. if you don't totally wreck them they are lifetime boats. Congrats and nice rig for fishing! and family fun.
Great stuff Rod, enjoy every second of it! I'm sure there are some big adventures coming.
Nice boat man
Happy for ya! Plus you can take the family out every once in a while. ❤️ and makes it nice that you can sleep and cook on it. Opens a whole new world for camping.
Congrats mate, your earned every bit of that and more! All the best with it, hoping to see ya out there!
Awesome boat mate. Congratulations!
Go for it Rod! So well deserved! Can’t wait to see your adventures in the new very slick rig!
That is a real beauty. I'm so happy for you and your family because I love boats too and have owned a few small ones, the bigger ones cost a small fortune. Yes, quality wise, there's almost no competitor to YAMAHA
Very nice, seems to be perfect to do long fishing trips :) Happy for you mate, wishing all the best and can't wait for amazing future videos 👍
Congrats on the new boat mate 🎉, it looks great 😊
I am so happy for you. You and Mark Weins are absolutely the nicest and real individuals on the internet. CONGRATS
It would be nice to see both you and Mark Wiens going on an adventure together catching and cooking in your new boat!
The Channel is starting to move at light speed :O
Maaaate, what a beauty. Can't wait to see the denizens you hook Into on his stunning craft! Congratulations!
Fantastic boat ! I love the layout of the Stabicraft 1450 tiller 👍 Only advice I would give as an owner of an aluminum boat is to stay up on your sacrificial anodes on the stern and motor. The salt water will eat them much faster than you think...and of course if the anodes are gone it'll eat your boat until it's full of pin holes.
Way to go! Nice choice..... So very happy for you. I remember the first day I brought mine home. I had the same smile on my face as you did in this vid. Enjoy!!!
Congratulations my friend. She's beautiful!! I can see many, many trips in the future and big, big fish!!! XOXOX
Gotta respect you for keeping it authentic and not just taking a sponsor boat. I saw the older model stabicraft a year or two back and drooled over it. This one has the same hull lines but so much better for ease of fishing.
My goodness, Wow! I don't know a thing about boats but I do understand quality when I see it. Aluminum boat, Lots of hard work welding. Man it's so beautiful. Congratulations, It must feel amazing to take that thing home. Great video, Just subscribed!
That's a great looking craft. You won't need a beach to sleep on, that will easily fit a swag.
Wow wow…..!! That is a beautiful boat!! I can’t wait to see it in your next adventure!
Congrats and I wish you lots of safe and fun times !
The more I think about it, the more I like this set up. So open and simple.
Beautiful boat. It’s always nice to see somebody get something they’ve worked so hard for. Especially when even though it’s a material object, it’s not for materialistic reasons.
Duuuude! Congrats! That boat is a tank. We have Stabicraft all over here in Washington state to handle the rough conditions. No more motor starting worries and plenty of room for the grommets! Stoked to watch new adventures, thanks for sharing!
CONGRATULATIONS ! Be safe with your family out there on the water !
Absolutely awesome. Can't wait for the next trip.
Just to let you know that me and my 8 year old daughter have a been a fan of your channel and she’s always waiting for your next episode of adventure. We love fishing and are always inspired by your vids. I myself have been kayak fishing for some years now. And were even stoked that you bought the same boat that we hhave for over a year now, a 1450. I can tell you mate, you’ll never regret it. Looking forward to your adventures with your new stabi. Cheers from NZ.
It's awesome to see you enjoying the success of all of your hard work. WOW! 40hp, that boat must be really fast. I'm looking forward to your new adventures!
I love that is your dream boat, I can't wait to join you on some amazing adventures with that wonderful looking craft.
Congratulations, That's one sweet boat. No more worry about punctures. Can't wait to see how she handles at sea. That sounder is great looking. Will be interested in performance. Again Congrats!
Fell behind on your videos a few months back but thoroughly enjoying catching up. Beautiful boat and well deserved. Best wishes from Ireland 🇮🇪
Well earned! Best channel on TH-cam. Sending love and appreciation.
Nice, congrats.
Thanks for the support mate👌🏆
I’m about 4 months late but just wanted to say congrats on the new boat! It looks great and you deserve it!! Keep being a great person and I really appreciate your videos!! Your adventures give me a break from my reality of working 70+ hours a week in a factory, I just imagine being out on the water and fishing! One day lol anyways thank you mate and again Congrats on the new boat!!
What a stunning piece of kit. They make really stunning boats. Congratulations mate. Enjoy!
Great Choice! It fits your needs perfect. I cannot wait see you on some new adventures in the future once you dial it all in. Fish beware! So happy for you!!
Fantastic Rod, great job! That’s a beautiful upgrade, and the previous commenter is correct, the fish may as well surrender lols. So much more room for activities lol, it’ll be great for family outings. Congratulations mate, good on ya! Stay safe and awesome Rod, we’ll see you in the next one
That boat is such a beauty!! Im excited to see it zooming across the waters on all the new adventures!!
Congratulations Ron, very happy for you and your family. I've been watching your show for a couple of years now. Looking forward for the adventures with the new boat! Well deserved, Randolph
Great safe, reliable, long lasting boat you can enjoy with the fam and pass down to the kids is a a win win 👍
Good for you friend. Stabicraft is my dream boat as well. Look forward to watching the upcoming video of you hooked on fish on this boat.
Unreal man . Stabicraft make the best plate boats. I have the 2100 supper cab in the same blue colour I got it custom built. I would not recommend doing this but finally got my dream boat . Such a awesome fishing platform . Can’t wait to see your adventures on your new little best . I love your vids man
Although I know nothing about boats, I have to admit I can really see how good this little beauty is going to be in those trips to those islands you like to take. I'm really looking forward to seeing her put through her paces and the trips in the future. Have a safe and enjoyable trip to Sydney (The Big Smoke), and I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas.
Well Rodney....this was my dream boat for you too..
I always wanted this for you.. congratulations....I am soooo happy...♥️♥️♥️🎉🥳🎉
I like a lot of Australian youtubers. You are the one who most deserves for all of your wildest dreams to come true! Congratulations on your hard work achieving your dreams!
Thanks Kathy, nice of you to say👌
Lovely new boat. Larimar. A Blue that supposedly denotes the sea and sky that brings tranquility to the heart. Happy and safe travels in your new boat 🏴🙏😀
Great overview! And yeah man, go ahead and put a good bilge pump on there. You know how it is with those bar crossings. Take a big one over the bow or side and motor dies that can be a boat/motor saver. I went without one for the first couple of months beach launching my small inflatable in surf and had a couple of “events” that made me add one. Soooo much safer for beach launches now.
Cheers Lance, Yea I think I might, no point in not making it as fool proof as possible. Pity they are tricky to get down your way. Maybe at some point🤞
I love the boat. I’ve never seen one quite like it. To me, a boat that is simpler and smaller with a smaller motor like yours is the best way to go for most folks. I’ve heard that the larger the boat, the less you use it. That wide open deck design with the high sides inspires confidence when in rough water I would imagine. I also figure you can go a long way on a little gas/petrol. Your boat is very much like what I would want in my next boat. Thanks for sharing. I don’t think they are available here in the US though.
Yep I agree with you comments on the boat, it has proven to be a great choice for what I like to do. I know they have just started up a factory for Stabicrafts in Seattle but they may not have this model in production yet👍
Dude your excitement is why I love your channel! Thank you for sharing all of this with us!
Congrats mate. That is such an awesome boat. Well done on the purchase mate. It is really well set up and as you say, there is a load of deck space. Looking forward to seeing your upcoming trips with the boat. Well done again mate.
I am so happy for you mate! I know you are going to have incredible adventures in this boat and I hope you have many many years together.
Been watching your channel for ages, absolutely stoked that you got yourself your dream boat, I can't say I'm not a little jealous, I cant wait to see what content you push out with the new boat. Such a sweet ride
Brrrro I've been watching fishing videos everyday for the passed couple of years and your wholesome dedication all the way to the little things through the boat and your passion for it all is A+ content. Nothing out there like the suspense for your vids to come go get em!
Nice job friend, That's a cool boat a little different than what we run in to hear in the states. I agree with you about the tiller steering, you're more in contact with the road ha I mean the water like a car with no play in the steering gear. Have fun and stay safe!
Awesome boat Rod, mad respect for being true and honest and not spruiking something you didn't beleive in!
I like your thinking... stunning boat Rokkit. Excited to see what you'd do to sleep on your boat. Would be cool to see a solid solution.
Been watching since the true kit, nice evolution.
Was expecting bigger to be honest but when you break it down to fishing/camping styles thus boat is perfect for you. Enjoy.
Wow, beautiful boat!! You have worked very hard, I'm happy you have a nice boat now to use on your adventures. Be careful out there.
I'm super excited for you!!!!! Can't wait for all the videos you film on this beauty!!!!! Congratulations mate!!!!
No matter what kind of boats you are into, seeing someone get their version of a dream boat is always so dope! This is incredible! Congrats to you!!!
Nice boat Rod...you made a good choice..Ive never seen anything like what u now have..been watching u since 2020 and seen how many boats you have used..great to see you got the one..looking forward to watching your future experiences..you are a true OCEANWONDERER!!..you deserve best..your videos stand out most for me because of your ambition, humblness, intellegence and experiences. Its comforting to see you always chasing your dream.
Tiller is the way to go mate on a small boat and often used on commercial boats up to 20ft. Frees up a lot of space. And like you say, fun.
Good for you and your family 🙏. When I bought my last boat I was looking at Stabicraft but they did not make the cab configuration I wanted in the length hull I was shopping for. I still ended up with an aluminum plate boat but from a manufacturer in the PNW of the U.S. I went with Yamaha for propulsion as well. Good luck to you with the new boat and enjoy making memories in it!
I hope that you enjoy the boat every single second of owning it i bought my dream boat this year as well it a lot alike yours
Loved the part with the family all about. It’s beautiful
Congratulations Rod.
Great boat.
Look forward to getting to know it better as you fish in it.
Well thought out boat!
Congrats on your new boat Rod, well thought out and planned. Looking forward to many new adventures and landing monster fish!! Would love to see it going out the heads Rod, a little short video maybe. Well done mate.
This boat is so sick!!! So excited to see the new adventures you go on and how far you push yourself.
Congratulations. The welds are beautiful
ROD!!!! that boat is fantastic!!! i’m so happy for you, i can’t wait for the adventures you’re going to take us on with it!!!
WOW nice boat Rod great camera work ...... very jealous can"t wait to see the first fish come over the side ....cheers mate well done.
YES! Stoked for you Rod. Stabis are bloody great
Happy for you. All your commitment to the channel paying off. It's great news. I only found your channel when you got Misty, but even though you're not a sailing channel, I am still excited to seeing your videos hit you tube. Enjoy!!
Congratulations Rod. It's great to hear the excitement in your voice. Safe and happy travels.
Been watching you for a while now and I love your videos. Congrats on the new boat. Really happy for you and I hope you enjoy lasting success.
With love, from Texas!
Yeah! You did it right! I love the 1450 Explorer.
What a weapon. That would be a boat for me! Super nice with the tiller steer. Luxury do it all in a super compact format. Nice!
Super congrats. I look forward to where you'll be taking us 😊
Congrats on the new toy rod, the options this will open up to you now will keep you busy filming, so glad you went with what you wanted and not like some of the other sell outs on youtube that jump at the first hand out they get offered, cant wait to see what trips you get up to in this rig.
Congrats Mate! Your thought process was almost identical to mine when choosing a dream boat (small boat that can do big boat things) I chose a Mclay 4.4 which is also an unsinkable NZ plate boat. I think with the way fuel is going these types of boats really are the way to go. I have had mine right out to the reef in Mackay and just spent 5 years in Weipa with it. Super stoked to see this for you mate and look forward to seeing the adventures in it!
Big congrats on getting your dream boat! I was lucky to get my dream boat earlier then expected because my wife was willing to give up getting a new car. I had thought I'd wait till retirement but my wife said "if you are planning on getting it at retirement anyway, you might as well get it now"
Same as you I ended up going with a welded aluminum hull. Mine is a Silver Streak and it is made near my in Sooke BC Canada on the southern tip of Vancouver island. Mine is 18ft hull with 2ft pod. I went with mine for many of the same reasons you did... mainly safety. Mine also has a foam filled ring on the inside so it won't sink either.
Congrats and I hope you enjoy many years of enjoyable fishing/boating with it. I like stabi craft but they don't have a lot of them here.
Well done in finding your dream boat. May it bring you lots of adventures with amazing fishing opportunities!! Can't wait for the new island trips!!!
