*1-1 Mentorship Information: Price & Structure (Maximum Capacity = 20 Clients Per Year)*
It's an absolute pleasure to film these TH-cam videos, and I feel fortunate to receive an abundance of meaningful messages every week, but I am unfortunately faced with the disappointing reality of turning away the vast majority of people who want to work together.
I have significantly limited availability and can only support twenty people per year because I do not offer one-off calls or drop-in consulting sessions.
Twenty individuals might not sound like maximum capacity, but the last few years of teaching have taught me the importance of maintaining tight energetic boundaries if I want to keep uploading these free videos in addition to serving my current clients to the best of my ability in 2024.
To minimise confusion and enhance transparency, I've spent several hours writing this ridiculously long comment to help you decide if my Inner Work Mentorship is the right choice for your development & what you could reasonably expect from working closely together.
Please take the time to read this service description before contacting me on Instagram… or feel free to stop reading right now if you’re not interested in my fees, session structure, client expectations, etc.
    ...
    *READ BEFORE SCROLLING FURTHER:*
I'm interested in long-term change and structural transformation, which is why I've never offered one-off sessions.
Complex issues cannot be resolved in a few hours, but we likewise need to define an upper limit for containment and collaboration.
I've learned that deep and enduring self-integration requires at least four months of immersive effort. Why four months? It's enough weekly contact for us to work through multiple complex issues and developmental possibilities, but short enough to mitigate against unconscious co-dependency and motivational stagnation.
I'm currently accepting a maximum of two new clients per month - message me after reading the following section to check my availability.
    ...
*HOW I WORK & WHO I WORK WITH*
Unlike other coaches and teachers who take an understandably more relaxed approach to healing and integration, my mentorships are characteristically intense.
This is a highly-demanding, high-investment process which requires our consistent combined effort over a period of four months.
If we were to start working together, I would reasonably expect you to be excited to show up for a minimum of 10+ hours of self-motivated transformative practice per week (daily reading, fitness routine, creative exercises, spiritual reflection, etc.) while also maintaining full-sobriety (no drink, no drugs, no cigarettes, no vapes).
These strict standards of discipline and sobriety are plainly unsuitable for most people in most situations - even genuinely motivated individuals who resonate with my TH-cam videos may not be the right match for four months of structured mentorship.
If you want to get deeper, I've noticed that there's a certain type of ‘temperament' & 'timing’ to get the most out of me.
I'm interested in alert, creative and purpose-driven individuals who aspire to exceptional standards of self-maturation and would enjoy the feeling of going through week-on-week of progressively stacked transformative experiences for a third of a year: my ideal client is somebody who is willing to bring forward their internal complexity with a sense of courage and transparency with the intention of nothing less than full-spectrum transformation & rapid acceleration on their personal path.
I am yet to discover another supportive figure who offers something comparable to this mentorship: a four-month, structured yet flexible 1-1 container which is simultaneously therapeutic, academic and action-oriented; with primary focus placed on tangible improvements in your felt sense of self-knowledge and self-integration; in addition to making consistent and meaningful progress towards your unique goals and mentorship aspirations.
I prioritise contact, compassion and accountability, which means that your work never really 'ends' at the end of your session. You can reasonably expect to be fed dozens of customised reading suggestions and follow-on perspectives outside of the formal sessions via friendly and informal messenger contact, where I am active and available four days per week to cultivate an intimate personal connection while likewise enhancing your positive momentum via accountability check-ins and additional support as required.
By way of conclusion for what feels like an extraordinarily long comment and service description, I feel compelled to once more emphasise that working directly with me is unrealistic for most people in most situations.
I often support people who are accustomed to wrestling with the emotional challenges associated with working through complex wounds in previous therapeutic relationships before we begin our coaching work together. Even individuals without 'hard trauma' can expect moments of pressurised darkness and heaviness during periods of shadow contact as you begin to restructure your personal unconscious. We will be exploring your psyche and soma at scale and depth, and it will be your responsibility to keep me informed about the emotional texture of your internal reality, especially if you encounter negatively charged experiences, and I will of course do everything in my power to support you through the hard times as we integrate the darkness and move forwards together.
TH-cam is a wonderful place for me to share free research resources and offer accessible inner work invitations; my private mentorships, however, are the place for collaborative partnership and emotional security as we identify, navigate and restructure oftentimes confronting and challenging conscious and unconscious physical, emotional and mental material.
Ultimately, this is a highly-demanding but highly-rewarding process which requires the best of our shared intentions.
    ...
    *SESSION STRUCTURE & FEES:*
The total fee for an Inner Work Mentorship (including 12 x 2 hr sessions) is £7,400 GBP or approximately $9,400 USD. This is my only coaching programme, and my mentorship pricing is liable to adjustment over time.

Each private session lasts two hours, and is facilitated via Telegram video call at an ideal time for both of us. Your mentorship extends over a linear four-month period, with a total of twenty-four hours of structured session time, in addition to four days per week of unlimited messenger availability for accountability updates, voice note exchanges and informal calls upon occasion. I do not work on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays, but I am fully-available across all timezones for regular calls and messenger contact on Thursday - Sunday.
If you’ve scrolled this far, and resonate with what I’m offering, I invite you to message me on Instagram. It would be my pleasure to start exploring your goals and intentions in real-time.
IMPORTANT: I am an intentionally independent coach, and not a licensed therapist or associated with any professional bodies or coaching institutions, and therefore enjoy the freedom to collaborate with my clients across all areas of life in an intimate, direct and highly involved coaching style. I work with no more than twenty people per year, and am currently accepting a maximum of two new clients per month. I also manage my own inbox and do not use automated systems or employ people to pretend to be me on Instagram, which means that it usually takes four to six weeks for me to respond to new messages and begin the interview process. Although my approach takes time, I hope you ultimately appreciate my personal emphasis on authentic and confidential communication from the very beginning of our relationship. I once again encourage you to message me immediately if you want to start working together within the next two months - bump yourself to the top of my inbox, and I’ll send you some voice notes to get our conversation started.

I really love the general direction of this person and this channel. I see his intention, but after watching a few different videos I realise how stuck in the mind these videos are. I say this not merely to criticise, that is in fact pointless and useless. It’s more to evoke and perhaps might I say inspire, to get out of the mind and get back to the heart. The pathway to the heart is through the body. Doing hard manual work. Meditation. The voice. The breath. Nature. NOT reading quite so much. Not being so stuck in thought, concepts, ideas. Take off your sandals and work in the grass, on the ground and BE. Simple. We overcomplicate because we have this incredible mind, incredible ability to think and explore. But it is also what leads us astray. Get out of the library and get outside. It would be inspiring to all of us, perhaps yourself included, to to walk and talks. See what comes from walking in nature as you talk and explore. You have a brilliant mind and lots of knowledge, that much is clear. Allow for the more esoteric (as you call it) to come through, to really embody and guide you, and hence guide your audience.

I agree with what you’re saying, although I get the impression that your judgment is premature 😂
Feel free to flesh out your perspective of who I am & what I’m teaching with my latest video on healing body anxiety, or perhaps my videos on healing childhood trauma through dancing & fighting + the other 12+ videos I have done on embodiment and somatic therapy on this page. I likewise have at least a dozen videos about spiritual practice including the esoteric - I’m interested in full spectrum same as you ✌🏻

I did the work like taught get degree later & worked for 40 plus years , now after a break down & awakening , lost job, I chose to heal, help others with what I am good at but then something happened the longer I was away - the more I am healing this trauma - I realized I dont want more of that or to go back to that life - so I am working on trying to figure out how to make enough money to survive my utilities, food, minimal living - and still heal through this because I can't expect to heal 15 years of horrific childhood trauma and 20 yrs emotional damage from a relationship - so I am digging deep to figure out how to help others & took a leap of faith & started my own art .....Thank you for sharing this - I am trying to reintroduce myself to society with this agoraphobia - its not easy - xo

@@jordanthornton It certainly feels like that here in Brazil. It's been around for the last 10 years. It found it's way into the mainstream through a respected guru that even wrote a book about it. Cannot tell you how many times I 've been approached with this concept of lifetime purpose since. It's become a excuse for many ponzi schemes. Whenever someone starts with this talk I just fake dementia and go away.

Hearing you talking about cutting away and sorting out the rubble I saw in my mind a sculptor at work chiselling and cutting , looking for what is inside the block of wood, accepting the "flaws", i.e. structure, traces of dead branches or old injuries, going with the flow, discovering the beauty inside. Reading about Vasalisas tasks at Baba Yaga`s House is about the same: clearing house: sorting, evaluating, discarding and keeping. After this is done Vasalisa goes with the blessing of Baba Yaga, empowered and enlightened to find her own way.

Thank you! Just needed this reminder, that I don’t need to have everything figured out and things might just work out fine without having plans for the whole life. Pressure from expectations that people around seem to have can geht really high sometimes. And also my will to belong and have a stable place in society is so overwhelmingly strong sometimes, that I would sacrifice anything to fit in. But it can be okay to just do what you need for that very period of life, think for shorter terms and be in-between. And maybe by doing that find a kind of place you actually want to fit into or you want to grow towards. Also thank you so so much in general for all of your videos and all the great book recommendations (even though I am quite slow reading them). The videos calm me down while just watching them. Also the information is very helpful, accessible and easily understandable.

Hijacking this video section to highly recommend one of the books he's recommended previously - The Primal Wound by John Firman. The Flying Dutchman Syndrome "Here there is the hope and quest for some magical situation the right house, lifestyle, therapy, and relationship that will trigger the idealized spiritualized state. The often unconscious assumption is that the treasure at the end of the quest will erase the wounds of life, and eliminate the need for creating a realistic lifestyle which accepts these wounds".

I’ve been doing the clearing and the cutting since I started the trauma work almost 10 years ago !
I left my dysfunctional marriage, left my safe and well paid job as a dentist because it was draining my soul. I became a trauma recovery coach instead. I Cut off toxic friendships and family members too! Left the country I lived and at the age of 47 I traveled the world alone with a suitcase and a bag pack.!
I feel much lighter shedding off my past identity and labels.
I must admit though the journey was difficult and at times very dark. But I’m happy that I’m no longer controlled by fear ❤
I can say now at the age of 49 I found my life purpose ! But I need a mentor like you who could train me in how to better myself as a trauma recovery coach and become successful in what I’m doing 🙏🏽❤️.
You keep ignoring my requests for your private 1:1 mentoring program
I hope you would consider me in your next lucky draw 😇

I agree agree and agree, the hard thing is when one wants to do sth but their emotional baggage and trauma affect them so much that one is struggling to do it also it’s tricky to identify if we hate sth because of a trauma related thing or just because it’s not really our thing. So yeah if we release that we are more free to move and identify what one wants to do. Some argue - and I also might- that to be present without such baggages or self absorption is the purpose itself. As this presence is more lively and free in itself.
Please do let us hear more about your backpacking and volunteer work plus your perspective on expertise matter ;)

Thank you for the video, Jordan. A desperation towards such "exploration" is sensed, and has been growing of late. In candor, I'm slowly tapering off a f'in Benzo, so dysregulation is generally off the charts. Hard at present to "plan" dinner, much less "make a move." You well described, from my experience, the place of knowing that this is a "false self", "a higher self", or, more usefully for me, an embodied self, exists, but plays hide and seek; preferring it would appear, the former role. Painful place indeed, and it reminds me of "The Wasteland" described by Joseph Campbell- the refusal of the call to adventure. He speculated that Schizophrenia would be the result. Conflict=Split; removing the label's other contextually and trauma-misinformed garble.
Frankl's reframe of the question itself seemed ingenious, yet as you discussed herein, although clever, it, like many a theoretical orientation, misses the "problem of disembodiment."
The backpack feels heavier...yet it IS changing.
Cutting down the conditioning is a real motherfucker, and Colorado has called for years. At 55, I see nothing. "Fearful eyes don't see very far"; a lyrical metaphor for early trauma.
Need a plan, yet need my internal muse and more trauma processing.
Hope not too much, but your videos often get me to think, and to write, mostly in a more embodied way; so thanks for the video and the canvas, my internet "friend." You are inspiring!

this is certainly relevant for me at this point in my life. This is a little embarrassing to admit, but i've been trying to use the tools I have (and affirmation meditation videos) to figure out my life's purpose in the last couple weeks. But I hadn't really considered the process of elimination, at least not seriously. I guess technically, there's a little more to it than just finding my purpose, bc there's an obvious wound that I have in regards to "God" or the Universe or whatever you want to call it. But maybe I've been going about it too naively.
