can you also please recommend a good veterinary book that covers these topics like veterinary receptors, different types of receptors in the body, different drugs for which receptors, which drugs should or should not be given during which situation and mode of receptor response, contradictions and drug respone...I'm a second year student and our university notes only focus on definitions and drug functions, i dont have a clue what is cox1,cox2,gaba,ach recptor ,noephinerine,ephiphrine,act,a1.beta etc....I would be grateful if you can recommend a easy and simple veterinary or medical book that covers these topics..if you have simple notes that would be helpful as well. thanks.
Hello! We haven't studied much pharmacology yet. The book 'Molecular Biology of the Cell' ISSN: 0248-4900 covers a lot of the basic cellular mechanisms and receptors in the body. Something like this may help you understand the underlying mechanisms and cellular processes that occur within the body. Good luck!
Hi Amelia! You probably won’t need these books just yet but the Veterinary Anatomy Colouring book is great way to have some fun & learn as you go, don’t worry about remembering things just yet you have plenty of time!
I hope you have Cat Anatomy by McClure, Dallman and Garrett
