I was a flight attendant for over 35 years. During 9-11, we had crew stranded for a week all over the world. Crew scheduling didn't even know where some crews were stranded. Planes were told to land at the first airport available. European flights landed in Gander, Newfoundland, where there were few hotels. Local residents let crew and passengers stay in their homes for days. Boo hoo to the passengers on this show. They were in civilization.

On 9/11 people at that point were not really aware of what had taken place and that things needed to be figured out. No one knew if it was an act of war yet and those people hadn’t seen the news yet. I know….that’s no excuse for being rude but just trying to help make excuses for them…lol..🤷🏻‍♀️…

The Irish woman seems to have no cares about anyone but herself - doesn’t understand Leo can’t just kick 4 people off a full plane to get her and her family on a plane. How selfish! If you have 2 children and can’t get a flight out for 3 days, don’t take it out on the Airplane staff - it’s not their fault.

@@Bungle-UK - got to agree with you in this case. You’re a mom, and yes we can see you’re going to be stranded with two kids - but it was your choice to have kids. The day the world changed, I remember I was watching tv at night and a news flash came on and it showed first plane had hit the building, then as more images came in another plane flew into the other tower. I just got this absolute shock and disbelief as more news was coming through and remember thinking are more planes getting controlled by people attacking place around the world. I was still living in Sydney at the time and the next few days was a really eerie feeling. No one came to the store (I was working in retail at the time). Took a few weeks to get back to normal. If people realized what had happened and the scope of what had happened I don’t think anyone would have wanted to fly. Some people just so selfish
