- After checking and not able to find a demonstration on how to set the Citizen Eco-Drive watch's time and calendar; I figured I would do my TH-cam Civil Duties and upload a video showing you how to set the time and calendar on this watch. Hope this video helps you :)

God bless your heart. My grandpa passed away a couple days ago and he wore this watch my entire childhood growing up. Took over an hour reading the instructions and couldn’t understand the instructions clearly.

Thank you for the video. I received one of these as a birthday gift and the included instructions don't make it clear on the various modes you need to be in to set the time/date/month.

Bought this $400 watch as a college graduation present to me. Didn't wear it much and had it in my jewelry box for 10 years! Just started wearing it again. It didn't work at first, I thought it must need a new battery, but a few days out in the light it started working again! Thanks for the video to reset my watch.

I came because when you initially start turning the switch to change the time, the hands turn really slowly and I didn't realise you have to do this to make it go faster. So thank you haha 👍

Thank you. I have had this watch for years and decided to wear it again. As a solar powered watch sitting in my armoire it needed to power up first. Thank you so much for making this video and helping me set up my watch again.
For some reason my watch had stopped. Keeping in sunlight for a day or two found it running but was out of day date and time. Time setting was no issue but day was bit tricky. This video help me find the day right. Thank you. I Have found this watch goes slow by 10 minutes or so every six months.

Once again I’m here! Lol. During Covid I had my watch sitting on my night table for some time. I guess it was face down and was dead when I went to put it on. I thought I needed to take it in for new battery, however, this watch never needs a new battery. Just put it in direct sunlight for a few hours and it recharges itself. I left mine inside a bay window in my house that gets good sun exposure. Left it there for one or two sunny afternoons and now I’m good. See you for daylight savings 😄

Thanks for this :) I bought the exact same watch in 2011 as well, for my dad who's retired. He loves it, esp. the perpetual calendar. Just last night, for the first time, it ran out of charge (not enough exposure to sunlight). So I had to put it in direct sunlight for a few hours, then reset time, date, leap year settings. It's back to normal now. I hope yours is still doing fine, as well.
You definitely need to be paid by citizen. I wore my watch off date and day for 5 years since I bought it. God bless you.

So helpfull. The directions that came with the watch were horrible but this video made it simple to get the date set.

Very well done video, even if you aren't a professional videographer as you said up front. It's the content that counts, and yours is superb. While the watch is nice in appearance, it is the most complicated to set of any I've ever owned. A couple of other posters said there was an instructional CD inside the watch box. I didn't get one with mine. I don't know about the other posters. Thanks for your help.
