Good information and helped me re calibrate my watch. One bit of information that I found in the manual that was missing here was this: After resetting the hour, minute & second hand to the 12:00 position, it is necessary to not only set the function hand to 'SUN' but it is CRITICAL to also reset the the date to '1'. After doing that, setting the time & date FINALLY worked correctly. Thanks!

I had no idea these watches needed calibrating or resetting, I changed the capacitor out a year or so ago and it never ticked again. I found about the resetting of it and tried it to no avail, left it on the counter and when I got home today it was ticking! And thank you for this informative video, it was so very helpful.

Jason Need thank s but I all ready did that... Pull the crown out 1x then select all time mode put the crown back. Next push top right button for 10 seconds.... But mine is not responding😥
Mine sat in a drawer too long. Put it in direct sunlight for a few days, then it woke. Calibrated it, running perfectly. mine is 2011 Signature Titanium Perpetual Calendar w alarm. Fabulous watch and very durable.

had one of these in my collection for a few years now also have the printed instructions, and as with many manuals they favour the one size fits many models of the same calibre mantra, but it doesn't and after watching this video is the first time I have the watch working perfectly for many years thanks

what to do if the mode hand itself is out of sync? The mode hand on my watch is out of sync by one click. It shows TME when it is actually in CAL mode, shows CAL when actually in ALM mode, etc. All the instructions I've come across start by setting the mode hand to L-TM mode. Since that is out of calibration on my watch, I have to start the process by putting it in TME mode instead. I'm able to do the rest of the reset process from here, but I don't know how to calibrate the mode hand itself. Please help!
Not sure you are still around but I thought I'd give it a shot. My hands do not stop or reset when I pull the crown out. it will not set. last time I set it was for EST last fall. any suggestions?
theoretex did you manage to fix it? My day is Sunday and it’s actually Thursday. Leap year +3 is stuck at the Sunday position. An actual demo vs explaining it might have helped in this video.
@@ohheyitskevinc I did. I went to www.citizenwatch.com/us/en/setting-instructions.html and put my watch info in to get instructions on how to fix it. It's a short video that explains how to do it and it worked. Similar as in this one. I just chose to go to the source for exact instructions.

yep just got it!! in ltm mode then close the crown en push both buttons,it s the last step .....could not figure it out,,,,,anyway thanks....
