i have 1b08h-i xvr without output alarm relay then i add IPC-HFW3449T1-AS-PV camera with alarm output so can i use the camera alarm out for other cvi cameras in xvr
I have observed something awful with the Dahua WizSense XVRs. When viewing camera footage on live view you get quality images, But during playback the video quality drops drastically as if it wasn't properly compressed. I am using default mode on all setup. I really want to know what the problem could be, Cos i am considering leaving dahua completely and going for other brands.
What are your "default" settings? Are you viewing the substream or main stream for playback? That would be my first guess. I really like Dahua (and HikVision). Sure there are many things I would like to see changed and/or improved, but in terms of what you get for what you pay, it's unmatched. Truly a powerful system but that also means it takes some time to learn how to properly use it and set everything up correctly.
@@i-elotechsystems33 How is the playback bad? In terms of resolution or just quality? What model is your camera and what model your XVR? How do you view recorded videos? Are you using the app, web GUI, SmartPSS or directly on the XVR with a monitor? Are you using AI encoding or similar? Could you just list all your settings for your stream under "encoding"? Have you tried using a different cable? (though this shoulnd't be a problem if your live view is good) I'm not a pro, not affiliated with Dahua in any way, but I have set up my XVR and have a couple of years of experience in using the system - and I really like what it has to offer. Also, as far as I understand, Dahua and HikVision basically control the surveilance market - most if not every single 'competitor' is basically a rebrand of one of these two systems.
@@i-elotechsystems33 One more thought; in the encoding section there are is an option where you can set a different set of options depending on whether the recoring is regular, an alarm event or motion. You can, for instance, set a lower FPS, resolution and quality for constant recording, then when something happens, you can set it to record in max resolution/FPS/etc. Maybe check this?
@@JD12ish In terms of quality, The playback video is always blurry. Model is XVR1B04-I. After playing around with some settings, I then discovered the issue was from the bit rate, I had to change it from the default bit rate of 512kbps to 2048kbps. But i am also thinking that would require more storage space, Or what bit rate would you recommend i use for optimum performance?
The feature I wish Dahua would add to their DVR/NVR/XVRs the would would be something that HikVision already has; *ONE-CLICK DISARMING* Please Dahua, add this feature and the ability to arm/disarm an XVR with the help of an alarm box accessory.
Hi Inayath, thanks for your message! It's a new product at present, so it may not arrive in India so soon. You can contact the local Dahua technical support to ask for more information. Thank you!
Boa tarde, gostaria de saber como deixar o horário do xvr no automático . Pois deixo certo e ele desregula
I just installed a 32 ch XVR for a client. It takes 4 minutes for it to boot up. Is that normal?

@@JD12ish Thanks for the reply. I am using the default H.265 encoding format. And I am viewing the main stream for playback.
