    Great video!!
    Some comments:
    - Very thorough analysis and nice visualizations - great work
    - in paraview, you can click the "gear" icon to open advanced settings and then select "backface cull" further down the menu to get clear surface visualization
    - we will implement many of your suggestions in a future version!

If you want to give the edge wing some nice high pressure air, then you need an undercut channel and a way to block airflow from going inboard of the rear tire. Aston Martin and Red Bull do just that with their sidepods. They both have an undercut channel that creates high pressure over the edge wing, and a way to channel airflow inboard of the rear tire. The sidepod also separates the two flows. Mercedes on the other hand sends a lot of air to the diffuser, but is sacrificing clean air to the rear wing, likely why they have to run a barn door and compromised ride height.
The Ferrari had the right idea, but now they just fell into the same trap Mercedes fell into. The Red Bull and Aston are very close in how they separate airflow just for the edge wing with their undercut, but also how they keep that edge wing flow from going inboard of the wheel into the diffuser. That air's energy has been used up, it's slow high pressure, this will drive the edge wing vortex quite nicely. We can use the downwashing sidepods to feed clean air inboard of the tire, that way the edge wing gets what it wants(high static pressure low energy air), and the diffuser gets what it wants(clean high energy air). Under the floor on the suction side of the edge wing and extending into the diffuser is a strong low pressure. That high static pressure air above will become energized by the pressure differential below.

Run the fences all the way through the floor
And run a skirt on the outer edge
(A running skirt that moves up and down)

Really cool, would be nice for a fully compliant model, but as you said it doesn’t matter that much.

It is interesting... First of all - initial airshapers model is so extremely poor in its aero performance that it imakes one curious if airshaper intentionally created an example of how not to do things :) with 1:2 LD and Cl of 1.5 that car would never qualify for 107%. Good analysis, thought.
