In Germany we often use the english terms anyway, so no confusion there.... Never had a plugin that was in german, but I also never looked for language settings... DAWs (and other software: Video Editing, Photoshop, 3D programs etc.) often have the option to change the language, but I never do because most (good) tutorials are in english anyway..... Love the podcast.... keep rockin'

I’ve seen the Goodhertz stuff being using in I think Japanese by Dee Kei before. So it is possible to do with at least some plugins.

In Spain, Plugins are in English. Thank God for that. You don't begin to imagine the translation disasters here. 😂😂😂 - Love the podcast. It has become my favorite.

I used to use Limiter No. 6 in the past, and I think it was in English, Russian, and Japanese. Also, SINE Factory's pianos are better than Spitfire's.
Most plugins are in english but im Zulu so yeah i can imagine a Vst in Zulu like Autotune will be written "OTHOSHUNI"😂

Just to say, I'm from Hungary, so nothing gets translated to my language anyways. But I have never seen a plugin not in English, but I feel like the industry is so US based that it won't make sense to translate it, if you break out being a producer or a beat maker for example you most likely will have US costumers anyways. English is a must.

Ableton, just like NI is a Berlin based Company. ;) And Plugin GUIs usually don't have any Translations or Language Settings, but DAWs sometimes partly have. Or they just use the same Language as the OS they're running on.
How much does the look of the plugin play in whether we psychologically view or rate the plugin good or bad?

Usually the Flip Menus are in the Language of your choice when it comes to most DAW's. For Example. Save as

Just like Microsoft Windows Whatever Language they offer is availabe Same with Android Phones. I had a few cenarios where I accidentally change the languge and I had a hard time changing it back
im an american in the philipines i know some daws like reaper u can download laguage packs but to my expireme plugins are in english some countries like here people can read in english a little

I’ve bought plugins from European companies, using euros. I think it just knew my computer was coming from US, so it showed me the site in English, and directs me to download the English version. Idk though.
I bet Logic changes languages in the system due to Apple Products being world wide

Dude I accidentally deleted something that goes to spitfire labs and I still can’t get the plugin to play right to this day…
Make a backup if your libraries and then reinstall over the existing program. That should put all files back where they need to be. Hope it helps!

No. All my plugins are in english bc they are made to be. You download the same installer every where in the world to my knowledge.
In most countries, musical terms remain in English.
