      It's too bad Tony Harnell lost his range from cancer. When I listen to these two, they have similarities in their styles and tones, and I wonder, during each of their primes, who could have, or would have, delivered the higher note? I still think it's hard to beat the power, clarity, and tone combination of Steve Perry, but I think that's a bit of an apples and oranges comparison.

      Robert Haizlip if I’m not mistaken, years ago when he had a stage accident it did something to his vocal chords and he hasn’t been able to hit those notes since then.

    • @rebeccabourque7704

      Dean P. Ok, I thought it was from the stage accident. I know that messed him up.....broken nose, jaw, memory loss and something about his spine. The video is on here somewhere. Thanks for clarifying about the hernia though 🙂

    • @rebeccabourque7704
      @rebeccabourque7704 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dean P. I can’t imagine singing like that for years wouldn’t do something....lol It has to take a toll at some point, one way or another. Plus with age most people can’t pull off the ranges they could before, regardless of the style of singing. Definitely power house voices back in the day, and hernia or not, he still has a great voice......just different 🙂

    • @blazejecar
      @blazejecar 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ashiqurrohman7731 I mean daniel heiman wins in both technique and range...by a pretty decent margin too. Not to downplay mili, he's the 1% of the 1%, but boy i have yet to hear someone even approach Heiman's level

      @@blazejecar I dont disagree. Daniel is special but why i wrote i comment is that someone just disregarded Mili and his talent and when i interviewes him he told me how he recovered from his accident which made him voiceless for like 6 months and to get back from there to even sing now deserves praise tbh.

      The reason is the generational divide. To us Gen X'ers, we lived this music and era, its incredibly special to us. These young people didnt live it, dont understand what a fun upbringing should be, and have been fed very pop'y processed music. Stuff like this is very foreign to young people today. They didnt live this amazing era as we did.....thats why.

      Their original lead guitarist, Kenny Kanowski, look him up, past away. He was a great singer and wrote a lot of the songs that were popular. We All Die Young was one of them. I am lucky to have heard the original lineup and man were they amazing. I'm glad they have a new fan in you, they deserve to be up there with the greats. They are one of my favourites.
