How he can hit those high notes after all these years is amazing!
Dude trolled the crowd for 5 minutes convincing them he couldnt sing the high notes by letting them sing the song instead then belts out a masterclass on longevity and power all while chewing gum. New fan here better late than never.
He's still a rock god well into his 50s now I have and always will be a fan of miljenko matijevic
Steelheart had their reunion show 2 years ago in Dallas, Grapevine Tx , I was there and he killed it..

I never thought or imagined he’d still be able to nail this all these years later! I made my son listen to this in the car when he was 9 and the vocals completely blew his mind!

I took guitar lessons from a guy who got to tour as an opener for national acts. When he hung it up, he gave guitar lessons (awesome teacher). He had big respect for talent, but I remember him coming in and saying that he saw these guys live back then (around 1990) and there was never anyone he was more jealous of than the lead singer of this band.
One does not need to be jealous of Milijenko's vocal prowess...one must just respect it and enjoy it?
I can't help but think about my wife while listening to this song. She birthed my 4 beautiful children and made my family the one I never had. Songs like these never get old and keep the lovely memories alive! Thank you Steelheart..........

I went to these festivals to see and document what seems to be the end of and era and the last gasp of rock n' roll, but don't give up on the kids. There is an entire generation that will rise from these ashes. There are legions of super talented young people out there. The general population just has to get tired of the current genre and the industry isn't there to support them. We did our fair share of partying too.

Then we must've been listening to two completely different songs then bc he didn't hit any hug notes worth a damn. When a singer from that era has the crowd sing the big choruses with high notes then that's a pretty good indicator they can't either.
@@Skolex Rockstar steel dragon? Is he when guy that was pulled up on stage? I didn't know anyone had passed away or about his accident. Honestly, this is the only song they had that I really cared for, but it is a great song. As for not hitting the high notes,this guy sounds better live than most newer bands do. Auto tune makes them sound good.
