I'm so glad I was a teenager during the 80's. It was indeed a magical time. There were so many bands with incredible musical talent that I still absolutely love to this day.

So sad what happened to this band. Just at the height of their music career tragedy struck when front man Miljenko Matijevic was crushed by an unsecured light tower on Halloween 1992 in Denver, Colorado. He survived death but, had many facial injuries that took him 30 years to heal and get back to the front man of Steelheart. Awesome singer and glad he's back in action. Today's music isn't the same. Even though this jam came out in 1990, the 80's hair bands ruled!!! Best ballads ever!!! Glad I grew up then...
It didn't take him 30 years. And Mike's only concern after he pulled the lighting truss down on himself was warning the paramedics if they cut his hair to stitch him up he would sue them lol! What a knucklehead he was back then!
Let's not get carried away here lol This was good, but in NO WAY a rival to the likes of Ronnie James Dio, Rob Halford, or Bruce Dickinson. I get these guys are metal vocalists, but they are the rock PROS and LEGENDS vocally! Not to mention, that Steelheart was basically a one hit wonder with this song, and the above singers have a multitude of rock and metal hits that speak for themselves.
There will never be music like this again… The 80s were the best era of music that there was… So many great songs with meaningful lyrics that touched every aspect of my life at that time and in many ways still does 🤘🤘🎸🎸🎶🎤🥁🎹💥🔥🤍🤍
Honestly this guy has an incredible voice in the studio as well as live: clear, high, powerful, managing to push as high and perfectly as on a single, this guy is a living god, I'm in awe, well done

Well, not lately he can't, he got crushed in a stage accident that HE CAUSED back in the day. He did some vocals for the "Rock Star" movie with Marky Mark back in the day, but Miles Kennedy beat him vocally live, so they went with him. Cocaine is a helluva drug, and yeah, just look at his teeth, lol.
Brother has some damn pipes on him….this was LIVE with no auto tune or backing tracks….bro can sing. Guitar is fkn sick in this song also, great musicians. Just a great song altogether.

Miljenko Matijević is seriously one of the best vocalists to ever exist. He sings everything from hard rock to Hallelujah with such style and presence it’s insane. Go listen to more of him music it’s all exceptional. ❤ Unfortunately he doesn’t have the long gorgeous hair anymore.
This is when these lead singers not only stay on key and harmonized but they also could entertain you with quality Music. They worked really hard for years to sound so good. No auto-tune or any of that crap like now a days
