I think what's great about Scott is that he gets child humor but it's not dumbed down it's still clever and he really did understand the struggles a kid would go through in the awkward years.

You can definitely see the difference between Scott Fellows show casts and Dan Schnieder show casts. For some reason, I always remember that moment between them in the final episode, where Sweeny tells Ned he's one of his favorite students. Well, a lot of people as they age have kids lol. So it's bound to be a part of the "adult survival guide" show. It's only really a problem when every character has a child shoehorned in ala Ravens Home.
I appreciate you all for doing this podcast. I have been such a lost in adulthood and every week I always pick up nugget of lessons that helps me with processing and navigating life. The reboot is such a fantastic idea with a fantastic plot. I saw myself in Cookie and his unhappiness in working a passionless job that pays him well. Out of all the TV shows rebooting, the world desperately needs this reboot.
The concept for the adult survival guide is genius and absolutely would be well received today. Ned’s was probably one of the most influential shows of my childhood, so thank you!

I've been loving the podcast and seeing Scott and Michelle was great! As a side note I made a Ned Bigby character for a Warhammer 40k campaign a few years ago and made my own little space survival guide for it. Probably one of the most fun characters I've ever played and it's all thanks to the show!

One of my favorite nuggets of life advice i was given by my grandparents is to just take it day by day. Everyone is just taking it day by day. Even them, in their late 70s and early 80s don't "have it all figured out" nobody does and never will. Its okay to feel like you don't know whats going on because literally everybody feels that
I feel like the big difference between the creators of Ned and Dirty Dan without a doubt was when I watched an episode of Ned recently. In that chapter, Cookie asks Gordy if he thought Lisa was cute and Gordy replies that he is not going to answer that because he is 40 years old. Something tiny but surely dirty Dan would think that Gordy would answer "yes, it's hot". The creators did a great job with that series, my applause.
Sorry for the TL;DR This podcast not only helps me reconnect to my inner child, but is also incredibly relatable as an adult. As any form of a Ned’s comeback, I’m so glad and grateful we have this podcast. The cathartic feelings I’ve had since episode one are honestly kinda ridiculous. Seeing Scott and his wife made me explode with joy. I had no idea what they looked like, but seeing the thumbnail made me somehow realize immediately who they were. This podcast is actually my official happy place. TGIW! EDIT: I made this comment before watching this particular episode. Now that I’ve watched it, things have changed. I was happy with this podcast. I still hope it goes on forever. This podcast was enough for me that filled the void of a reboot. Maybe it wouldn’t have worked right until now. But damn, after hearing the real pitch, I REQUIRE a Ned’s adult survival guide reboot/sequel. And it can be as serious as you need it to be. The OG Ned’s was as zany and wild as it needed to be for us as kids, because we WERE kids, kids that can still relate to that show, but a sequel (I wouldn’t even call it a reboot) with a completely different tone would actually make total sense, because that’s how life actually works. The cast/crew cares about each other and the audience, which is why it worked so well the first time, and it’s the reason why so many comments like mine are on this podcast. These people truly have something special, and are truly special. This podcast filled my Ned’s needs until now, but immediately, I am demanding the Ned’s Declassified Adult Survival Guide. I'm only part of the way in, but I see that Mr. Scott lives up to his name and hype that the show has given him. His reputation as being wholesome, sincere and genuine really shine through. He's the type of teacher from high school that you invite to your wedding 💜😭

I watched this show with my kids as a 20 year old adult who had and still has a lot of the same humor as these people. The chemistry is off the charts and you can tell that everyone genuinely cares and respects each other! Love the podcast, just found it and have already watched 5 or 6. Now in my 40s, the adulting survival guide would be great! You would think that school would have prepared everyone in life, but unfortunately many of us have to figure it out on our own the hard way. Thanks again for all the laughs and joy ❤😂

EDIT: I made this comment before watching this particular episode. Now that I’ve watched it, things have changed. I was happy with this podcast. I still hope it goes on forever. This podcast was enough for me that filled the void of a reboot. Maybe it wouldn’t have worked right until now. But damn, after hearing the real pitch, I REQUIRE a Ned’s adult survival guide reboot/sequel. And it can be as serious as you need it to be. The OG Ned’s was as zany and wild as it needed to be for us as kids, because we WERE kids, kids that can still relate to that show, but a sequel (I wouldn’t even call it a reboot) with a completely different tone would actually make total sense, because that’s how life actually works. The cast/crew cares about each other and the audience, which is why it worked so well the first time, and it’s the reason why so many comments like mine are on this podcast. These people truly have something special, and are truly special. This podcast filled my Ned’s needs until now, but immediately, I am demanding the Ned’s Declassified Adult Survival Guide. The premise is just too good, and you three are too good not to nail it. Reunite with Coco in an episode where he’s become a DJ 😉 SOMEONE MAKE IT HAPPEN PLEASE
I would love to watch a sequel, but in a more mature format, like the way sitcoms like HIMYM and Friends were shot. Man I would watch the shit out of that. You guys are great. Great episode!

Adult survival guide would be a great Netflix series, either 1 or 2 seasons. I feel like it would have a big following stemming from old Ned's fans to more young adults watching it, especially when it's still early in the internet age.

But the one we truly need is Ned's declassified Adulthood Survival Guide. We should make a signing petition to ask Nickelodeon/Paramount or whatever to make it happen 🤩

I'm only part of the way in, but I see that Mr. Scott lives up to his name and hype that the show has given him. His reputation as being wholesome, sincere and genuine really shine through. He's the type of teacher from high school that you invite to your wedding 💜😭
Love hearing creators/showrunners talk about their creations. Really sounds like Scott and Michelle ran a fun, protective set, which is comforting to hear. I always wanted to be on Ned's Declassified growing up
I watched this show with my kids as a 20 year old adult who had and still has a lot of the same humor as these people. The chemistry is off the charts and you can tell that everyone genuinely cares and respects each other! Love the podcast, just found it and have already watched 5 or 6. Now in my 40s, the adulting survival guide would be great! You would think that school would have prepared everyone in life, but unfortunately many of us have to figure it out on our own the hard way. Thanks again for all the laughs and joy ❤😂
