    Yoooo that pitch for Adult Survival Guide is perfect. If you wanted to circle it back around to school somehow, just make Ned a school counselor instead of a teacher, maybe Cookie leaves the tech firm to be a science teacher and Moze is a PE or shop teacher. But honestly the pitch by itself is already great

      You can definitely see the difference between Scott Fellows show casts and Dan Schnieder show casts. I'm not saying he specifically is the reason they're all not as good of friends as people like Devon, Daniel, and Lindsey, and Big Time Rush, but it can't be a coincidence that almost every Schnieder show had drama behind the scenes. Zoey101, Kenan and Kel, iCarly, Drake and Josh, Victorious, Sam & Cat. At this point, what show of his didn't have drama? Henry Danger? All That?

    I feel like the big difference between the creators of Ned and Dirty Dan without a doubt was when I watched an episode of Ned recently. In that chapter, Cookie asks Gordy if he thought Lisa was cute and Gordy replies that he is not going to answer that because he is 40 years old. Something tiny but surely dirty Dan would think that Gordy would answer "yes, it's hot". The creators did a great job with that series, my applause.

    So where’s the petition for the adult survival guide series?

  • @Jim_The_Fish
    @Jim_The_Fish ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Sorry for the TL;DR
    This podcast not only helps me reconnect to my inner child, but is also incredibly relatable as an adult. As any form of a Ned’s comeback, I’m so glad and grateful we have this podcast. The cathartic feelings I’ve had since episode one are honestly kinda ridiculous. Seeing Scott and his wife made me explode with joy. I had no idea what they looked like, but seeing the thumbnail made me somehow realize immediately who they were. This podcast is actually my official happy place. TGIW!
    EDIT: I made this comment before watching this particular episode. Now that I’ve watched it, things have changed. I was happy with this podcast. I still hope it goes on forever. This podcast was enough for me that filled the void of a reboot. Maybe it wouldn’t have worked right until now. But damn, after hearing the real pitch, I REQUIRE a Ned’s adult survival guide reboot/sequel. And it can be as serious as you need it to be. The OG Ned’s was as zany and wild as it needed to be for us as kids, because we WERE kids, kids that can still relate to that show, but a sequel (I wouldn’t even call it a reboot) with a completely different tone would actually make total sense, because that’s how life actually works. The cast/crew cares about each other and the audience, which is why it worked so well the first time, and it’s the reason why so many comments like mine are on this podcast. These people truly have something special, and are truly special. This podcast filled my Ned’s needs until now, but immediately, I am demanding the Ned’s Declassified Adult Survival Guide. The premise is just too good, and you three are too good not to nail it. Reunite with Coco in an episode where he’s become a DJ 😉 SOMEONE MAKE IT HAPPEN PLEASE

    I would love to watch a sequel, but in a more mature format, like the way sitcoms like HIMYM and Friends were shot. Man I would watch the shit out of that. You guys are great. Great episode!

    Adult survival guide would be a great Netflix series, either 1 or 2 seasons. I feel like it would have a big following stemming from old Ned's fans to more young adults watching it, especially when it's still early in the internet age.

    This is my favorite episode of the podcast! Thank you, Michelle for bringing up Everclear. As a former band geek, that was my favorite Ned's Declassified episode.❤

    I didn't understand that we didn't get a high school survival guide only middle school it deserves more

    I don’t watch television anymore but I would buy a subscription service just to watch the adult survival guide because that pitch is so GOOD

    Awww man I loved this episode. And I totally love the idea of a Adulthood Survival Guide ❤ We have already iCarly and Zoey 101 remakes. But the one we truly need is Ned's declassified Adulthood Survival Guide. We should make a signing petition to ask Nickelodeon/Paramount or whatever to make it happen 🤩

    I'm only part of the way in, but I see that Mr. Scott lives up to his name and hype that the show has given him. His reputation as being wholesome, sincere and genuine really shine through. He's the type of teacher from high school that you invite to your wedding 💜😭

    Love hearing creators/showrunners talk about their creations. Really sounds like Scott and Michelle ran a fun, protective set, which is comforting to hear. I always wanted to be on Ned's Declassified growing up

    I watched this show with my kids as a 20 year old adult who had and still has a lot of the same humor as these people. The chemistry is off the charts and you can tell that everyone genuinely cares and respects each other! Love the podcast, just found it and have already watched 5 or 6. Now in my 40s, the adulting survival guide would be great! You would think that school would have prepared everyone in life, but unfortunately many of us have to figure it out on our own the hard way. Thanks again for all the laughs and joy ❤😂

    Hearing you guys explain the adult life guide made me so happy. Growing up on Ned’s and watching this episode made me realize how amazing it would be to have that vision come to life. If zoey 102 can be a thing, Ned’s the adult survival guide has to be next. ❤
