2:43:50 before Dove started releasing songs in 2019 she was in a band with her co star and then boyfriend Ryan Mccartan called Girl and the Dreamcatcher!! This was around 2016-2017 I believe they had one ep
Based on input from Shayne and Damien from Smosh who were both regulars on So Random, the reason So Random was even created was to meet the contract requirements of the main cast of Sonny With a Chance (as they had signed on for 3 seasons, while SWAC only got 2), and one of the biggest factors in it ending was how expensive it was to run (with multiple new sets and elaborate costumes in each episode). So idk how much it's actual success had to do with it ending.
The reason Dove Cameron played 2 characters instead of hiring twins is that the initial pitch and pilot was for a different show based around single parents, each with 2 kids, marrying and the 6 of them adjusting to living together. It got reworked into Liv and Maddie and was decided to make it about identical twins, but rather than redo the whole cast, they kicked out one of the main cast (I don't remember her name but she appeared like twice and I think I noticed her appearing in this video as well) and got Dove Cameron to play both roles

The Brenda Song take I think must be generational. I’m 32 and would absolutely have labeled her a Disney channel star. I remember her singing in the big groups in the ad breaks on Disney channel. By the same metric you used before, “if she got famous for music, people would immediately talk about how she was a Disney channel star first”
Brenda Song is Disney channel royalty absolutely! But having grown up during that time I don’t remember her doing any music wouldn’t associate her with being a singer. So that’s the difference to me! Omg in that pic that Siena girl looks exactly like Danielle (from starstruck with Sterling Knight and she was in the originals as a young witch, the originals is a spin off of vampire diaries)
Pussycat Dolls had their song "Bad Girl" on the soundtrack for the Disney-distributed film "Confessions of a Shopaholic", 3LW also appeared in an episode of Disney Channel's "The Jersey" and B5 were technically started by the monster himself P. Diddy on Bad Boy Records.
-3 primary series roles -2 roles in series from other networks that were imported to the network after they ended. -2 series from those categories are primary roles, others are either extremely secondary characters or appearances for one episode. First on-network appearance is roughly 2001, barely before the discontinuation of the Zoog block, with two film appearances. Other notable Disney appearances predate the allotment for inclusion, with an appearance in a 1994 iteration of a 1986 vhs series. His siblings, Tia and Tamera Mowry, last appeared in on-network content in 2007.
I think we glossed over Tony Oller (whose name I had to look up because Disney kinda did him dirty). He's the guy who starred with Demi Lovato on As the Bell Rings in the late 2000s. It felt like they were trying to push him and Demi to become pop stars by making them sing together, but for whatever reason they only gave the spotlight to Demi in the long run. Tony's character made a goofy music video (or 3?) for As the Bell Rings, and I always remember thinking "are they gonna promote this guy or not?" Wikipedia implies the beginning of his career was As the Bell Rings, so I kinda feel like he counts. Anyway, this was a phenomenal deep dive nonetheless. 👍

All the films *did* have Disney stars in them, though. Lucy Hale was in the third one, Once Upon a Song, Sofia Carson was in the fourth, and the final one featured Laura Marano and Gregg Sulkin.
2:32:33 I’ve been literally been wait in since I read the title for Hayley Kiyoko. I love her! My favourite Disney channel pop star!
to add to your point on Cristina, Reflection made it onto her self titled debut album. That's an official Disney song making it onto her album. Also Genie in a Bottle was covered by Dove Cameron as Mal. From DisneyWiki ""Genie in a Bottle" is a pop song (originally by Christina Aguilera) performed by Dove Cameron who reprises her role as Mal. The music video premiered on March 18, 2016, during a new Stuck in the Middle episode on Disney Channel."

Any true American Dragon: Jake Long fans know that the first theme song and first season is the best.
I can’t believe you kept saying “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series”, good on you! I would have cut it or shortened it after the second time.
Actually Cozi Zuehlsdorff is a very very good artist, her music is very much worth listening too. She released music mostly outside of Disney. She's fantastic
Omg in that pic that Siena girl looks exactly like Danielle (from starstruck with Sterling Knight and she was in the originals as a young witch, the originals is a spin off of vampire diaries)
I see Disney i see seamus I see my childhood! I don't care how long thr video is I will watch
Thank you for making these videos
*NSYNC song bye bye was in in Deadpool and wolverine

ADRIAN'S GOT 2 SONGS NOW SO HE COUNTS AHHHH!!!
I miss the meter from last video.
Quite disappointed that you didn't mention Tahj Mowry being the star of "Smart Guy" as well lol
-3 primary series roles
-2 roles in series from other networks that were imported to the network after they ended.
Tony's character made a goofy music video (or 3?) for As the Bell Rings, and I always remember thinking "are they gonna promote this guy or not?"
Wikipedia implies the beginning of his career was As the Bell Rings, so I kinda feel like he counts. Anyway, this was a phenomenal deep dive nonetheless. 👍
thank you so much for your very noble and honorable sacrifice
Now I’ma watch all three hours of this
