fingers crossed we're getting more halo!
Me too!
I hope we get lots of new halo sets!
Me too!
Wild, I hope that’s why we haven’t gotten new sets so they’re waiting for the name change. But idk why they would hold back the modular sets if they were ready to go why hold them back?
@@awesomejeeps9856 we’ll see what there is to come. Simon over at the domain posted a new video with some insider information and confined mega isn’t dead
i hope we still see them
Just subbed and waiting ❤🎉
@Darrshan_23 nice
I watched thedomain's video and he seemed really optimistic about MEGA continuing as a separate brand that exists alongside Mattel's new brick brand. What I just don't understand is why would they make a competitor with themselves? Sounds like a fast way to either bankrupt MEGA or waste money on a new line that won't be as popular as MEGA.
It's odd but this is the same company that owns both matchbox and hotwheels
Yeah I checked out his video, I’d already posted my video few hours before he dropped his.
I also think it is very weird to have two separate brick building type toys.
Rip halo mega it was a good run boys
@@financedgnome8859 stand your ground we’re not giving up not till the fat lady sings
Stay Strong!
have you seen the domain's video? he's a mega insider and he says mega will continue on alongside these mattel bricks
@@BiomechanicalBrick yeah I saw that, I posted my video about 2 hours before he posted his. I’m going to wait a couple days and see if any additional news comes out before making an addendum to this video.
I'm curious to see how this pans out. At the end of the day I just want new sets and easy access/distribution. It gets old scowering the Internet for a single new set.
I agree. From what I’ve seen the current speculation is brick shop won’t do licensed sets but that’s only speculation.
very nice work
@@TheBrickArtist2992 thanks
I wonder how many hours of brainstorming it took to come up with the name.
@@edwardallen4916 I’m gonna guess either less than 1 or more then 70 and there’s no in between
Wait WHATTT
Where did you hear about lego snatching the license for Pokemon?
@GrumpyCat7 pretty much everywhere. To my knowledge there is no news for upcoming mega Pokémon sets right now just like halo unfortunately.
And Lego is putting Pokémon into their official announced Nintendo Gameboy build… I’m like 99% positive that has been confirmed that there will be Lego Pokémon in 2025.
It’s very unlikely they would share the license at the same time.
@Rashmansbricks I watched a video from somewhere else
And the dude showed articles that say mega is going to continue alongside Mattel brickshop and mega still has the license
Also
How would there be a Pokemon theme this year... If that was the case we legit would know about it for months already unless Lego is keeping it seriously under wraps
The gameboy has to be a one and done with the pokemon license
I asked where you heard this from because I've been following leaks non stop and this is the first time I heard someone say that a Pokemon game will be included with the Gameboy

Here is the video in question
I would be thankful if you could comment on this because I'm not really in the mega space and don't know if everything is correct in this or not
@GrumpyCat7 to be honest I don’t really know enough to say for sure, I don’t follow Pokémon that much, I’ve seen a lot of people mentioning it in both of the mega discords and the Facebook group I’m in, but never seen anything concrete to point at that’s solid proof one way or another.
Yes I do recognize this video I made is now at the point of being outdated as We have had more current news that’s come out from Mega directly since I published it that mega is Officially not dead and is still partnered with Microsoft at this time.
Logically though there really isn’t anyway the gameboy won’t have a Pokémon game of some kind with it. All of the other previous released video game console builds from both LEGO and Mega have had what is widely regarded as being the most iconic video game associated with that console released as a build along side it.
(The Mega Xbox 360 has Halo 3, the LEGO NES had Super Mario, the LEGO arcade machine had Pac-Man, the LEGO Atari had both Astroids & Centepede. And then the mega OG Xbox that has been confirmed is still coming out is supposed to come with Halo 2)
Another thing to add is Pokémon is really the only Nintendo exclusive theme that Lego doesn’t currently make in some capacity.
However I will say, My understanding is Nintendo doesn’t directly own the license for Pokémon to make merchandise with, as that license is handled by someone else. But I could see them merging Pokémon over to Lego to do sets from other themes like Super Smash etc where Pokémon has shown up outside of their own games. And sell more toys.
Lego has historically been far better at keeping leaks and rumors locked up tighter than a hot nun. With very cut throat policies when it comes to confidential materials.
then another thing historically Mega & Lego have never held a licensed theme at the same time. Yes they’ve certainly had the same licenses in the past (Such as Marvel super heroes, Minions, TMNT, & Pirates of the Caribbean) but never had those licensed themes at over lapping times. Asides from that Lego is known to be very cut throat when it comes to themes once they’ve got them they don’t like sharing.
