      @Habibul Awual When will Gupta do a program on how you lynching Muslims and the killings of Muslims in India? When will he tell the truth to his viewers about how Kashmiris are living like prisoners in their own country, where almost a million man army is harassing them daily. I bet he don't have the guts to tell the truth.

    One of the books SG recommended was "The Great Game" by Peter Hopkirk. I am truly grateful for SG for recommending it. It took me several weeks to read that fascinating book. While most of the focus is on the Russian and British empires battling out in Central Asia, you will also read their efforts to enter the Xinjiang and their run-ins with the Chinese empire.
    That book is a great eye-opener for me. World powers are not built in one day. World powers are not invincible. They get knocked out every now and then in battles, but they just happen to have resources to run the marathon.
    Xinjiang, while historically populated by Turkic Muslim people, it has been part of the Chinese empire for a few centuries now. With these efforts from the Chinese government, it will most likely lose its Turkic Muslim character forever.

    • @patmclaughlin107
      @patmclaughlin107 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Truth.Always Wins That is not accurate. SG himself mentioned in this CTC that Xinjiang/Turkestan region has been part of the Chinese empire for centuries. With Tibet too, that is the case more or less.
      So, we should not look at Tibet and Xinjiang as regions that were invaded by China for the first time in 1940’s. That’s just not true.
      Read the book “The Great Game” by Peter Hopkirk. I just can’t recommend that book enough for serious history lovers.

    • @patmclaughlin107
      @patmclaughlin107 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Truth.Always Wins Firstly, Wikipedia is not “Christian”. Secondly, it may have started in the West, but people from all over the world contribute to it.
      Now that main point: the link you are referring to is about when Xinjiang is made part of the People’s Republic of China, which only came into being in 1949.
      My point is that Xinjiang was part of the Chinese empire for several centuries.
      I hope the point is clear.

    The Mongols originally were ardent followers of Tengrism,Shamanism,Buddhism and Taoism. Then came Islam and Christianity(Eastern Orthodox Church). Genghis Khan himself never converted or accepted Islam(however plurality was encouraged and universal tolerance was promoted. All religions were equally patronised). His descendants post the invasion of the Khwarazamian empire and the destruction of the trove of knowledge(THE GREAT BAGHDAD LIBRARY) which marked the end of the ISLAMIC GOLDEN AGE ; in an irony in turn chose to find peace in Islam. Actually the influence of their wives and the conversion of a revered Buddhist Monk; who upon becoming a Khan declared himself a Muslim resulted in mass conversions among most of the mongol elite that ruled over a predominant muslim populace. Genghis Khan was never a Muslim; he was a practicing Shamanist and a Tengrist. He in fact established institutions that ensured Religious Freedom in his administration and was perhaps the first truly secular World Empire(multi continental) empire of the early middle ages. He was given the tag of "defender of all religions". All this in spite of being a ruthless conquerer and accused of being a "barbarian" by European Christian Historians of the time(here we can cite a clear oriental bias). His maternal descendants were India's Mughals as well as Timur. However the Mughals chose to be associated more with Timur due to his embrace of Islam and direct Mamluk Sunni-Turkish Heritage ..but Akbar however sought to seek inspiration from Chenghiz.

      Adam AS is the first Muslim Khalifatullah, the sanatan and Hawwa AS is our sanatan common divinely chosen mother. The word Arva is Arab and this word is phonetically sama are Arya . I am from the Kahalgaon block of Bhagalpur district in Bihar. The word Muslim is an adjective . Please focus on the meaning of the words. Prophet Abraham SUH and HRP know as Guru Brahmma prayed to be among Muslimeen. Have you read verse 2:128??? Please do not worry. Most 'muslims' are not aware of this aware. Allama Iqbal was not aware of this. He was using the word Muslalmaan for all and sundry which is utterly wrong the the word Muslim as per the prayer of prophet Abraham SUH and HP known as Guru Brahmma is reserved for the divinely chosen leadership. The word Sanatan is made of Sam+aatan in which the later word refers to the Arabic word aata as in Sura Kauthar. Inna aa'taina kal kauthar which is decree of grant of abundance to prophet Mohammad SUH and HRP. AdamAS, Noah AS referred to as Manu and prophet Abraham SUH and HP known as Guru Brahmma are indeed sanatan for all of us referring to the sanatan divinely chosen leadership in past whose holding together for unity is the command for all souls and sanatan dharma is the Sanskrit /Persian expression of verse 3:103 of the holy Qur'aan. وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا ۚ وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ النَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ - 3:103 |And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided.| In 2010, I found out the sanatan divinely chosen leadership of humanity, the vasudhaiv kutumbkum of Adam AS and Hawwa AS. for whom we have jaikara in our national anthem. The word Jai in Sanskrit is phonetically same as Hai in Arabic. We indeed have so much commons in the scripts and words in the languages of the house of prophet Abraham AS and Guru Brahmma, decreed a mighty nation in the humanity. This is the reason, Brahmins as aal e Abraham are from among the people of the Book and so are the rest including entire humanity as one community expressing through the metaphor of vasudhaiv kutumbkum . I am assisting all souls in updating knowledge on the divinely chosen leadership of our age for whom we have jaikara in our national anthem. Please consider reading this. facebook.com/notes/muhammad-mukhtar-alam/national-anthem-of-india-is-sanatan-islamic-with-jaikara-for-imam-mahdi-as-adhin/10155118725159565/ The display picture of mine is the picture of the 49th Imam and Fatemi Khalifatullah whose name I shared in the meeting with the current Defense Minister and former home minister in order to denounce ISIS as founded by Dajjal/Dhongi Simon Elliot aka Abu Baqar Baghdadi . www.slideshare.net/mukhtaralam/report-of-the-meeting-of-muslim-community-leaders-with-the-home-minister is the link of the report. Salam to you, all in the family and neighbourhood masajids and home with salutations for the sanatan divinely chosen leadership. Om Jai Jagadish Hare , Prabhu Jai Jagadish Hare is the generic jaikara as is the generic vandana in Alhamdo lillahe rabbil alimeen. We have issues in humanity due to absence of knowledge, allegiance and obedience of the divinely chosen leadership of the age

    I think audience calls you a professor because of the way you explain things to us. I mean it's good, feels like a class. Without this show, we would miss a lot of this important info. You find this info, declutter it and the share it. In today's day and age when we have so much data available to us, we sometimes miss a lot of such detailed important information.
    So thank you so much!, Prof Gupta.
    I think you should open up an Institute or at least a fellowship on Strategic Policy in India.

The Print is what I watch to get the facts I need to help form my opinions on pressing issues. Your wisdom and experience really comes through to us.

    0:20 Just a minor correction, the pronunciation of Xinjiang and Beijing has always been the same even when they were spelt Sinkiang and Peking in the past. The mispronunciation only serves to validate the better romanization system used today.

    • @khai-yuenloh669

      @@rutvikrs It is just a difference in the romanization system used. It is somewhat analogous to India changing Calcutta to Kolkata, although I have heard that had more to do with pissing off the British.

    News should be restricted to only Information exchange. Like the good old days when it improved our vocabulary and multiplied our knowledge. You compare News media in the US and India and you cannot stop feeling pity for both the populations. The US media has gone all out LEFT and Indian seems to have gone CRAZY.

    My CTC suggestion :
    1. The US federal reserve's unconventional monetary policy and the impact it is prone to have on emerging markets. Maybe also elaborate on the Financial Stability Report RBI had released in July. There is very little proliferation of this subject matter within even the most educated Indians.
    2. The important role of credit growth for a nation's economy and how that has been anemic in India for a while needs to be understood by the people so that the necessary pressure can be created on the government to act accordingly.

    • @bilalbaig8586
      @bilalbaig8586 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can you give more details on the Federal Reserve's policy? I want to look it up

    • @zehahahha
      @zehahahha 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bilal Baig so the thing about unconventional federal policy is that to understand its nuances you need to look about the balance sheet of the federal reserves and in that there are some watershed events which are extremely important to look into..a good starting point would be post closing of the gold window in 1970s and for the contemporary evolutions look at fed policy post GFC and also the repo blowout in September 2019. The essence in understanding fed policy is in knowing how powerless the central banks really are and the real power lies with the commercial banks and it is lending by the commercial banks which decide how a country’s economy would do. I would suggest you look into the paper Bank if England had released on how money creation happens. Also refer the works of heterodox economists such as Steve Keen, Richard Werner, and also Austrian economists. In our curriculum we are only taught Keynesian economics which is not in line with how the practical world works. I hope this helps 😊

    • @bilalbaig8586
      @bilalbaig8586 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@zehahahha I am somewhat familiar with US Federal Reserve's sleight of hands. What is the policy and what is unconventional about it?

    • @zehahahha
      @zehahahha 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bilal Baig well you will need to go through the FOMC minutes for it, the unconventional policy I am referring to is mostly the dollar swap lines extended in order to ease the Eurodollar shortage but actually accentuating the problem and then there is the QE business which is neither quantitative nor easing as it doesn’t lead to any liquidity being generated in the real economy but rather causes tighter monetary conditions as it deprives banks of the higher yielding long term treasuries which are most essential collateral for the money markets to create liquidity in the real economy. But this is all just a scratch on the surface, to understand the role of the fed or the lack thereof you must look into the Eurodollar market and although there is very little transparency in it they release TIC data intermittently which sheds some light into it
