Waffle pointed this out to me that I called aspect minor, however, it is very important to your Radar Cross Section (RCS). And to be honest, I'm not going to argue with the person that taught me how to G-Pull. Briefly, the orientation or aspect of your plane plays an important role when it comes to your RCS. Head-on or facing directly at the Radar is the stealthiest, followed by the back. Interestingly, each part of your plane is modelled to give off a different RCS, so you should avoid showing the Radar your 'belly' for lack of a better word, and avoid using afterburner.
It took me entirely too long to find out the F45 doesn't need to use it's own RADAR to fire AMRAAMs. Another thing you can use for stealth is terrain. It's like hiding from someone's flashlight behind a couch. of couse, you can't see them, either. so you're either relying on your AWACs to keep you appraised, or are having to guesstimate where they'll be when you pop up to shoot at them.
@@3ch0_17 indeed. you can have the opposite situation too, I wager, folks going in the 45 with no AWACS cover not knowing how to Fox3 properly. XD. Because without that bird, you *do* need to use your own RADAR.
@DFX2KX I've noticed, recently atleast, that regardless of the bandit, I can't pick anyone up on radar that's farther than 20 miles away. At that point, having a good eye with eots works just fine
In some pvp lobbies a God tier strat is all internals and cruise around at 35k, radar cold and taking data link from friendlies. Provide overwatch and take out the enemies who squeeze through. I've flown over 5 ships of 26s and 45s and dropped amraams on them from behind. Noone knew what hit em. This doesn't work that well in a2a bvr lobby, but other pvp lobbies
basically just: dont put anything externally face directly towards/away from the enemy for most stealth dont have your bay doors open all the time (only really matters when you’re using the optically guided bombs) and dont go above like 650 knots or something i think the cone reduces your sealth
I love the 45. I can't tell you how many times a missile warning stops while the missile is in flight, due to the missile fired at you losing it's radar lock with no signature to pitbull on.

I'm from the future and the next aircraft that will be released is EA-18G which is called EA-28G. It's not stealth, but it has electronic warfare though.

Technically yes, this is true. However, this is only when you have a gun and nothing else and you are facing the SAM head-on. If you equip a RADAR or any munitions on the wings, you lose all the stealth, same in the F-45 - and I don't see many people that would forfeit the munitions on the wings and RADAR for stealth. Moreover, the types of missions the AH-94 flies has the SAMs in close range to the aircraft. Even if you were in a stealth mode with only guns, you probably wouldn't be close enough to engage it with the gun before it detects you. Also in these missions there is typically terrain to hide behind which is always better than stealth. So to conclude, yes you are right but its stealth comes with a caveat. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if no one reads it that is a Wall O' Text right there.
Beside the screens to the left, there is a little dial which chooses the jettison mode between: selected, external, and everything. Selected can select single arms through the SMS page on the MFD. Hope that helps, sorry for the late reply

Yeah, I've done something similar and it works well.
basically just:
dont put anything externally

I've dodged many a aim120 in the ah94 by simply facing the missile while straffing- no chaff/flare.
This is with full pylons, too.
