The ILS is great for lining up and coming in on the right glideslope but once I get within a few nautical miles I just keep my eye on the HUD and cycle through checks of line up, angle of attack, ball... line up, angle of attack, ball...
Hitting the Comms menu, then the ground tab, realizing you've hit the wrong button, then backing out to hit the ATC tab is probably the most common cockpit screwup in VTOL. every time. good landing.
